"come with me to best buy" monae said as she stood in her brothers doorway "you must be ready to buy me something" asadi replied after pausing whatever he was watching on his mac book.
"depends, i might be feeling generous and oh, we're going to target" she announced knowing that was gonna make him hop up as quick as possible "oh yea, then we can grab lunch and you can choose what we eat" monae said and he gave her a suspicious look.
"why are you being so nice.." he mumbled with concern "because i'm cramping and i'm trying not to take my anger out on anyone" monae replied as she grabbed one of his hoodies and put it on.
"and now you're stealing my clothes" he said, pursing his lips "i really like this hoodie, you'll get it back in a month or two" monae said with a confirming nod "you're not coming in here demanding nothing" he said as he slid on his shrek crocs.
"right..sure"

"why are you looking at ipad minis?" asadi questioned as he stood beside his sister "because i need one for traveling, i'm tired of walking around with my big one" monae said and he nodded "yup, they done gave the wrong person money" he said as he walked off.
"i will glue your mouth shut" monae said as she glared at him before looking over at the nearby worker "excuse me, sir" monae said causing the man to look at her.
"yes, ma'am?" he replied "may i get this ipad mini in the color purple?" she asked politely and he nodded "yup, i'll go grab it from the back" he said and she smiled "thank you" she replied.
"so what's for lunch?" monae asked as she walked over to her brother who was looking at the different tv's on the wall "wingstop or raising cane's" he replied "umm wingstop" monae decided.
"here you go, ma'am, and would you like to pay here or up front?" the worker asked "here would be fine" monae replied as she followed the man to the counter and paid.
"come on, sadi" monae said before walking towards the front of the store and leaving "are we going to target first or wingstop?" he asked as they got in the car.
"call into wingstop and we'll be in target to waste time" monae said as she pulled out of best buy's parking lot and made her way towards target that was right across the street.
she quickly found a parking space before handing asadi her keys and getting out of the car—immediately making her way into the store.
she walked over to the kids clothing aisle and pouted once she spotted a hello kitty sweatshirt for mort, "stop this is the cutest thing ever, is this her size?" she asked herself as she grabbed the hoodie.
