Kai practically was skipping into the ECLIPSE dormitory, a giddy smile plastered across his face as he nibbled on his favourite strawberry Pocky. Humming a happy tune, especially during the chorus where (S/n)'s part would shine in the ECLIPSE old song, he almost seemed to dance his way inside, his feet barely touching the floor.

As he passed the living room, the soft-spoken leader of the idol group, Ace, glanced up from his embroidery work with an amused smile. "Well, well, look who's in a good mood after visiting his brother. Grinning like a kid who got extra dessert. Got some happy news from the CEO, Kai?" Ace's tone was light, laced with curiosity.

Kai only grinned, still lost in his blissful little world.

Nova wandered into the room next, his Nintendo Switch in hand. He was playing Animal Crossing with his headphones on, bobbing his head slightly to the music. But the sight of Kai beaming caught his attention. He lifted one side of his headphones with a sceptical look. "Wait. You? Happy? After seeing the CEO? No way."

With a mock gasp, Nova ran to the nearest window, dramatically pulling back the curtains. "Did the world end? Is the sky falling? Are we in an alternate dimension?" He then darted over to Kai, placing a hand on his forehead. "Are you feeling okay? Got a fever or somethin'?"

Kai scrunched his nose in annoyance, swatting Nova's hand away. "Ew, don't touch me, you bacteria induced shit. And hell no, I'm not happy 'cause of that piece of shit."

Nova blinked. "Then what's with the Pocky-fueled sunshine act? You were stomping around this evening, swearing you were gonna 'go to the motherfucker's office—and now look at you. All teheheheheheeee~ What gives?"

Before Kai could respond, the TV in the living room flickered to an ad for their agency's newest idol, Acheron. Kai's smile grew even brighter the moment (M/n)'s face appeared on the screen. His heart skipped a beat. He practically glowed with happiness, his flushed cheeks a telltale sign of something more than admiration.

Ace, noticing the shift, arched a brow. "Alright... What's going on with you, Kai?" He followed Kai's gaze from the TV back to his glowing expression. "This isn't just about work, is it?" sensing something were off about the youngest member of their group.

Nova tilted his head, sensing something fishy. His gaze was to the TV back to Kai, to the TV and then to Kai. "Ohhhooooo..." He grinned mischievously. "I think, I get it now."

"This isn't about the CEO at all, is it? It's about this Acheron." He smirked, the older idol managed to strike a point on the younger idol.

The flashback of (M/n)'s earlier words echoed in Kai's mind as they linked their pinky fingers together as a binding contract to chain their vows together 'Keep our meeting and my identity a secret. Okay Kai? No one can know...this will be a secret just between us. Shhh?' He bit his lip and forced himself to act nonchalant, even though the pink flush on his cheeks betrayed him. "Ummm.....No particular reason," he said in a sing-song tone, looking anywhere but at Ace and Nova.

"Somethings off..." Ace said in worry of the possible mischievous deeds their dongsaeng could be planning. The oldest between the trio gave him a knowing smile. "Kai... You're terrible at lying."

Nova wasn't buying it. "Dude. Are you in love or something?" He folded his arms, his tone half-teasing, half-incredulous. However, he was ignored. "Seriously, why do you only respect Ace and (S/n)? What about me, huh? I'm older than you too, you know!"
