August. The filming of the movie was finally over and soon everyone would move on to another project. Although, before that happened, the whole cast decided to take a vacation at the beach. It would only be just for one day, but it was well deserved.

All have agreed to meet up at Strawberry Productions at eight in the morning. Gotanda, due to having a huge car (that he had bought in the time he was looking for a spouse according to Aqua), drove everybody to a private beach so nobody had to be worried about the paparazzi. The way there was several hours so leaving early would allow all to enjoy a full day.

Himeka had an hour left before leaving for the meet-up. Her bag had been done the evening before so it gave her time to advance on her searches regarding the old murders Kamiki committed. Out of the seven celebrity murders, one would be exposed, two were resolved (Misaki and Natsuhiko), so five were left vague. The most recent murder, before that of Yura Katayose, was of Kobayashi Honoka and her boyfriend, five years prior. Himeka remembered seeing news channels reporting it and articles online when she was still a trainee. The report officially concluded that a gas leak caused the fire to kill them.

There was no known link between Kamiki and Honoka. He had produced one or two projects she was involved with, but either had a minor role or he was a minor producer. It might have still been enough to get into contact with her, however. Himeka had been browsing the internet for the past thirty minutes in the hope of figuring something out. Anything she would find about Honoka was articles or fans barely hiding their resentment at the fact she was dating and sleeping with someone. It was just five years prior and people still harbored old views.

But Himeka's hand holding the mouse stopped. Her eyebrows furrowed and she clicked on an article before zooming in on the picture. It was a photograph of Honoka's funerals taken by a paparazzi. It was quite disgusting that reporters did not let the family and loved ones mourn in peace and yet it was the reason Himeka finally got a lead. For on the picture was someone she had been working with ever since she debuted.

"Nami-san...," she muttered.

Although seeing the clock, Himeka had to pause her research and leave for Strawberry Productions. Her disguise was not as elaborate as usual as no one knew where she lived now and it was still early in the morning. When she arrived at Strawberry Productions, everyone was already there. So they all fit in the van and headed to the beach.

It was the first time in years that Himeka was taking vaccination. She couldn't even remember if she had ever gone to the beach before. But the feeling of the hot sand beneath her feet, the fresh salty air from the sea, and the sound of the waves splashing on the beach; it gave her a feeling she could not even describe. It instantly eased her body and released the tension accumulated in her muscles. And being here with her friends was the sherry on top of the cake.

Himeka was helping Gotanda unload the car with Leo's help.

"I'm amazed to see everyone here even though they're busy," Ruby said.

"That's because we were able to wrap earlier," Melt replied. "We have until today as backup for shooting, after all."

"Starting tomorrow, everyone will be busy again, huh?" Minami, Ruby's friend, said.

"Nope," Shiranui replied. "I'm taking two months off so I can slack all I want. Only those who can't interfere with their schedule are busy."

Such words immediately arouse jealousy within Ruby, Kana, and even Taiki. Shiranui was a very popular girl so she could afford to disappear from the screens for a while unless B-Komachi were still rookies and needed to always be on the move to secure as many fans as possible and stay relevant. The world of idols was a lot more prone to shifting.
