"If you hate blood, why aren't you paying attention?" I tried not to look at the blood so as not to throw up. "You're welcome Five, of course you're grateful to me for saving your life." He rolled his eyes.

Five had wrapped my shoulder first and then stitched his own arm back up. He didn't listen when I told him to go to the hospital. He hadn't even asked my mother for help. After all those years on his own, I guess he didn't feel the need to ask anyone for help anymore.

"Let's go." I gave him a strange look when he stood up and approached the window. "Was there something called a front door invented?"

"They'll ask a lot of questions if we go out there, it makes more sense here." I grumbled and got up. "Did someone ask Lorelai what she thought?"

I was unfortunately wearing one of our old uniforms, since I was covered in blood. I looked exactly like a kid who was going to school right now.

I followed Five down the stairs by the window.

"Damn it! Where are my dad's things?" I frowned when I saw Klaus in the trash. "Shut up!"

Nobody had said anything?

"I'm trying to find whatever it is so Pogo will leave me alone!" Klaus was still grumbling as we descended the stairs.

"I would ask what you're doing Klaus, but I realized this. I don't care." Five paused. "If you don't care, keep going down." He continued down the stairs at my suggestion.

"Hey! There are easier ways to get out of the house, my siblings." I nodded in agreement with Klaus. "That's how our old man resorts to such methods, regardless of his age." I could feel Five rolling his eyes.

"That was the least likely way to talk, I thought." We both finally made it up the stairs.

"Hey, hey, can I keep you company today? I can clear my schedule." He sipped his drink.

"You look busy."

"This? I could do this every day. I just..." He dived into the container.

I grimaced. "You're keeping Klaus a few feet away from me."

"...I lost something, that's all." He came back out with a donut in his hand. "I found it! Thank God!" I grimaced even more as he started eating the donut. It was obvious that he didn't like it, and was looking for something else. He felt like throwing up, but he pretended to like it to convince us. "It's delicious."

"I'm not paying for your addiction anymore." When Five turned away, I turned and started walking. If I had stayed any longer, I would have thrown up.

Klaus grumbled behind us. "Sometimes I think you see Ben, but then I look at his movements and I realize I shouldn't believe it. I think if Ben was really with him, he wouldn't let him do this kind of nonsense."
