She sat looking at the clocking ticking, every second until sun rays peeped through the window, ." What did I even ask, I just wanted her to share her problems with me as a sister. Is that something that changes after marriage? Or is she angry with me that I didn't support her when she married Arnav ji, but she didn't even give me chance to support her. And today, first time , for the first time Kushi has spoken to me like that, in a manner that she knew could hurt me. ", Payal continued weeping.
On other side Anjali was fiddle with her phone, whether to send that message or not. The message read , " Can we meet ? - Anjali " . She couldn't send that message, she simply dropped her phone next to her and slept. As she rested her eyes a set of eyes opened next to her. Shyam sneaked outside with Anjali's phone .
"Anjali! Anjali!, I know you would fail this task too. Sometimes you are too dumb to figure out things , just like how you didn't see me, the real me. But don't worry , I will send this message to Aman, and once he meets you, you will automatically ask it or I will make you ask it. Now let me send the message", Shyam pressed the send message in Anjali's phone and quietly went back in.
Soon day started at Shaantivan, Arnav was the first to leave even before Kushi could get up, he had to catch a flight, followed by Shyam who was setting his plans and then slowly they house almost emptied leaving just ladies . Both Anjali and Nani witnessed Payal ignoring Kushi from morning, and Kushi doing all in her kitty to make things right.
" Anjali Beta, I am taking Manorama and your Dadi for it, the temple is little far from here, so I dont want to risk you by taking you in car. Please rest at home, and if you need anything call Kushi and Payal, okey? ", Nani left Anjali with fighting sisters and left.
It was only 11 AM, but the house looked empty as dessert, with Kushi in kitchen and Payal at another corner, Anjali was restless. " I will reach in another 10 mins - Aman", blinked her mobile making her wonder why is he coming now. She quickly looked at her phone only to see her message asking him to come to meet her. She was first confused, who would have sent the message. Then she convinced herself that it was she who would have sent unknowingly .
When Aman entered, it was not just Anjali who was hesitant but also Kushi and Payal was the one to witness the awkwardness between those three, she quickly stepped in , " Aman Ji, aap! Did you come for any file? ", Payal broke the ice.
For a moment Aman didn't know what to answer, neither did Anjali. "No , he came to help me some documents that chotte wanted to get signed, right Aman Ji!", Anjali lied forcing him to nodd yes.
" Payal Ji, Kushi Ji, I have a request. I have asked Hari Prakash to arrange the puja items in store room. Since he is out with Mami ji and Nani, can you both please bring those after arranging the flowers in it ?", Anjali managed to divert them from the place with a time consuming task.
Payal went in, and thus Kushi jumped behind taking this as a opportunity to make things better.
" Ji..", Aman stood looking around sensing that no one was at home. " Please sit down Aman", Anjali spoke casually. Aman sat on the sofa two feet far from Anjali.
" When do you plan to get married , or do you plan to stay single whole life? ", Anjali asked something out of blue, not about Kushi , not about Arnav, not even about those fake paper she said she is about to sign.

FanfictionThis is my slightly different take on how Arnav and Kushi's life turned around after their forced marriage. There is no question if they love each other or not, its only how much? And this story is all about that love - how it breaks, how it suffers...
