After the ball Mia was sure what she wanted to do. She had been thinking about stopping her search and traveling. After the conversation with Janice, after saying it out loud for the first time she knows what she really wants but first she wants to move in with Char, then she can pop the question. 
The only thing left to do is tell Char that. It has to be perfect for her sweetheart, so for now Mia plans, and if she is really good at one thing then that is planning and scheming.

First things first she needs to talk to Reece. He picks up after a few seconds.

"Hey, what's up?" He sounds suspicious since Mia usually never calls him.

"Hey, I have a question"

"Okay.. shoot"

"How did you ask Marjorie to move in with you?"

"How did I-? Wait do you want to ask Char to move in with you? But what about your traveling?" :He asks, a little shocked not expecting her to settle down with Char so soon.

"I'll stop. I thought about it for a while now and it's time.": Mia answers, already regretting having called him.

"Oh I am so happy for you. Char really has to mean a lot to you."

"She does so it needs to be perfect when I tell her and in the same move ask to move in with me.": Mia clears her throat, she hadn't said it out loud before so now it feels even more real. She is really doing it.

"Okay let's put a plan together.": Reece grins proud that she trusts him enough to have called him.

Some time later they hang up with a solid plan in place.

Once the line is dead, Reece jumps from his chair. "Marj. I need to tell you something.": He calls excitedly.

Mia tells Char her next trip is in a few weeks, so she has enough time to prepare, but as she sees Charlotte's look when she informed her that she will be staying a little longer this time, she almost told her there and then, with how happy she looked, but she decided against it, wanting this moment to be special.

Coming back to the present as she hears keys in the door. A smile is spreading across her face and she is once again reminded how down she is for the other woman.

"Mia, I'm home": Char calls from the door, where she is pulling her shoes off. Mia has been in town for two weeks now and she loves coming home to her girlfriend. She is glad that Mia had decided to stay a few weeks before she goes on her next trip.

"Hi, baby": Mia welcomes her, opening her arms for Char who immediately steps into them, inhaling her girlfriend's addicting scent, feeling the stress of the day melt away as she sinks into the hug.

"Long day?": Mia asks carefully while she gently takes the claw Clip out of her hair, nails softly scratching along her scalp.

"Mmh": Char mumbles, too caught up in the feeling of Mia's fingers in her hair.

Mia smiles, pressing a kiss to her head before placing a finger under her chin tilting her head upwards so she can place a soft kiss on her lips.

"Let's move this somewhere else. You are probably hungry and tired. I made us a little something to eat." Mia says while she pulls Char after her. Sitting her down in the kitchen and placing a steaming plate of pasta in front of her.

"It smells amazing, thank you.": Char beams, while she starts to eat.

"You are welcome, sweetheart. I hope you like it": Mia smiles.
