It's been a few months since Mia came back from her last trip having told Char she can't be away from her anymore, and things have been amazing between them and they are about to have their first anniversary in a few days.

Both women are excited. Each of them having planned a surprise for the other.

So when they are laying in bed tangled together a few days before the 21st, Char makes the first move.

"Darling?" She asks, head on Mia's chest, her arms wrapped around the redhead's middle. One of Mia's arms is slung securely around her shoulders, while their hands are laying intertwined on Mia's stomach, gently raising and falling with each breath she takes.

"Hm?" Mia hums tiredly, drifting in and out of sleep.

"For our anniversary I thought we could go stargazing, I heard that during that night there will be a meteor shower. I would love to see all the shooting Stars with you." : Char looks hopefully up to Mia, who presses a kiss to her brow.

"Of course we can, my sweetheart. How about I'll take you to that Spa you wanted to go to for years, then we go to our favorite Restaurant and then drive up into the Mountains with a bunch of snacks, blankets and spend the night watching the stars?" Mia suggests.

"That sounds perfect.": Char beams, sitting up a little to give Mia a deep and long kiss, before snuggling back into her arms.

"I love you." Char mumbles into Mia's neck.

"I love you too, baby.": Mia whispers back.

Both of them quickly falling asleep.

A few days later Char comes home from work, finding Mia hunched over some papers in the living room.

Char takes a moment to take her girlfriend in, her red hair is in a messy bun, strands of hair are escaping left and right, her face is bare of any make up and she is wearing loose fitting sweatpants which are full of stains from cooking, finishing her look with an oversized T-Shirts from Charlotte.

As she watches her scrunched up face as her hand flies over the page, Char knows she is doing the right thing.

She takes a few steps towards the concentrated redhead, gently placing her hand on her neck, letting it glide into soft red hair undoing her bun, letting her hair tumble over her shoulders, her nails are gently scratching Mia's scalp, causing the redhead to lean back, she watches the smile spread across Mia's face as she looks up at her.

"You are early, baby": Mia mumbles.

"I know, I missed you and I have enough overtime to go an hour early.": Char replies, letting her hand run from Mia's hair to her chin, tilting her head back a little more, to press a kiss to waiting lips.

"I love coming home to you, knowing I am the only one who is allowed to see you like this." Char looks at Mia with so much love the redhead has to clear her throat in hopes of getting rid of the lump that has formed in her throat.

"Come on, food is about to be ready and you are way too overdressed." Mia tries to change the subject.

Char smiles knowingly, getting Mia's hint. With another quick kiss she lets go of Mia and makes her way into their bedroom, letting the redhead finish her paperwork in peace.

When she comes down again, in a similar style as Mia she is greeted with a lovely decorated table and their dinner already waiting.

Mia never disappoints; she always goes the extra mile for her girlfriend.
