Hellooo, okay I don't know how I got this idea but in my head, Reece was the one who cooked and Mia did all the fixing in the house when they were still together and it kinda snowballed from there...so yeah enjoy Mia being a handywoman for Char😂🤷🏼‍♀️

Warning: It's a little steamy but not too much...yet

It was a quiet day in the nursery, too quiet. Marjorie sat in her office, typing away at her computer, realizing it is almost the end of the day. Still thinking everything went too well today Marjorie goes to turn off her computer when suddenly all lights go out. Leaving her in complete darkness. She curses as she blindly reaches for her phone, turning the flashlight on.

"For a new building, this is unbelievable.": Marjorie grumbles as she makes her way slowly along the corridor to Autumn's office.

"Hey, are you okay? Honestly, which electrician did your dad hire?": Marjorie asks as she steps into the office, seeing that Autumn is about to leave too.

"Ugh, I don't know. I already tried calling him. Luckily, all the kids are gone already. Maybe I can reach-": Autumn gets interrupted by the lights turning back on.

Both women look at each other, puzzled, turning around as Sorscha appears at the door.

"Hey, you two okay?": She asks.

"Yeah, do you know how the light turned back on?": Marjorie asks confused

"Oh yeah, that was our mean redhead.": Sorscha chuckles.

"What?": Marjorie almost screams.

"Yeah, she was here to collect Char when suddenly the light went out, and she said to wait where we are while she checks it out. It seems like she did manage to turn it back on.:" Sorscha grins, while Marjorie still looks dumbfounded.

"Are all of you okay?": Another voice pulls her back and she looks at Charlotte approaching. Mia walks next to her with a bored expression on her face; their hands, which are tightly clasped together, swing between them.

"Yeah, we are all good, and you? What happened to the power?": Marjorie questions as the couple comes to a stop next to them.

"Oh, everything is fine. Mia fixed the problem, and we are good to go, aren't we?": Char looks happily at her girlfriend who smiles at her lovingly.

"You give me too much credit, sweetheart. The fuse was just overloaded and blew. I didn't do much, but I would recommend not letting all five washing machines run at the same time.": Mia suggests with a raised brow.

"Oh well, thank you, Mia, we will keep that in mind.": Marjorie clears her throat.

"Great. Are you ready to go, baby?": Mia turns to her girlfriend, smile back on her face.

"Yes, I am. Good night guys. See you tomorrow.": Char waves as she and Mia make their way to the doors.

The other three women just shrug and pack up for the day, leaving shortly after.

At Char's house:

"I didn't know you are a Handywoman": Char giggles as she and Mia cuddle on the couch. She claimed her usual spot right on top of the redhead, a thick blanket wrapped around them.

"Well, when you don't have a father who does all those things or enough money to call someone to fix it, you get creative and start learning yourself. It helped that I am an incredibly fast learner and that it meant I could help my mom by fixing everything that broke. By the way that flickering lamp has been bugging me for the longest time.": Mia says as she fixes one of the light bulbs with her stare.
