I wake up at six in the morning just because today is Diwali, and I have to help Mom with her work. Everyone is sleeping, and mom is doing her kitchen work, and I have to take the decoration responsibility.

I chose flowers which I have to use to decorate the house. I have to make the rangoli. The house is big so the work is big. Mom was saying that servants will not help in this work because it is our responsibility to make our festival special. So there is not a single servant in the house.

I am already in a saree and open hair with a lightweight jhumka. I am doing the work for everyone because I am not going to celebrate it. I will get ready and sit like a princess in her room that's it for today.

I bend down, take some patels of marigolds, and start making the flower rangoli on the side of the stairs. I watched the video yesterday on how to make simple rangoli and it's working. The rangoli turned out to be pretty. I used to celebrate Diwali, but when Mumma died, I never celebrated Diwali in France.

After I was done with the rangoli I went to decorate the temple. With flowers.

"Bhabhi needs some help. Aarav will help you". Tara says, and I chuckle, looking at their reaction to Aarav.

"Don't you know how to help"? Aarav asks Tara.

"You will help Bhabhi, and I am going to help Mom", she says while slapping lightly at Aarav.

"I am your elder brother how can you slap me"? Aarav yelled.

"I can because you are only one month older than me, don't forget that"! She yelled back.

"Go to your house back and celebrate your Diwali with your family," He says.

"I am not going there, I will live with my beloved brother". She says Aarav shakes his head.

"Bhabhi, what can I do"? He asks me.

"You can help me with lighting. I don't know much about that thing" I said, and he nodded and left.

After some minutes, he came with a box full of lights. "Here you go bhabhi. Let's decorate from the garden", he says, and I nod.

"Where is bhai, bhabhi"? He asks.

"He was sleeping. And I don't know if he woke up or not" I said, and he nodded.

"Let's go". We both went towards the garden and took out the lights from the box.

We looked at each other with confusing looks, and we both looked at the garden and trees, and we laughed.

"Bhabhi we are in a mess". He said, and I nodded.

"Let's try. I hope we will not end up ruining things" I say.

"We will hang the lantern in the trees", he says, and I give him a thumbs up.
