JUNGKOOK'S POV

Entering the hospital I was met with the remorse of people. It was a hushed rush in the ER.

The wailing of people and little hope in their eyes that the doctors were trying their best.

From my prepirial view I noticed the hospital staff helping the doctors. Their focused and serious expression was enough to know that they're dedicated to their work.

I made the way towards my workers bed. They were badly injured. The plaster and bandages were the sign of the pain they went through.

The pained expression of them made my heart clench. They were my people who work for the company's betterment. But today they are here in this state. I was starting to get disappointment.

Sighing , I went towards them. After noticing my presence they became cautious. They were about to sit but I signaled them not to do so.

" Mr. Jeon , we all are alright. " Mr.
Kang  , the representative of the worker union , was the one to assure.

" Yes sir thankfully we were able to get on time but there are some still in the operation theatre. " Another worker spoke.

" Thanks for informing about it. And Mr. Kang can you brief about the accident. " I said

" Actually even I don't know much about it.  Mr. Woo is aware about it but currently he is in the OT. " I have him a nod.

I was waiting outside the ward when the doctors came out while removing their masks. I found a familiar face between them. Min Yoongi

He recognized me and scrunched his eyebrows. " Are you Mr. Woo Hwan's guardian? " One of them questioned.

" Yes" I answered. His family lives in a different city . So he is my responsibility now.

" He is out of danger but is still unconscious due to anesthesia. " The doctor informed. I thanked them.

But Min Yoongi pulled me aside. " What are you doing here Mr. Jeon? " His eyes were narrowed sharply.

" The accident caused was done in one of my factories. So all of them are my responsibility. Dr. Min are all of them alright? "

" Most of them are injured but few were in between the line of life and death situation. Mr. Woo was one of them but fortunately he was saved along with others. But there is one who is in critical stage and Dr. Jeon along with Dr. Yeo are trying their best. Just trust them. " While saying this he patted my shoulder and went to check other patients.

Sighing I started rubbing my temple. Just then I got a call from Namjoon hyung. I picked it up and spoke, " Yes hyung? "

" Jungkook our doubt was right. This accident was caused by something. " He spoke through the other side

" Who is it? " My voice became sharp now.

" The footage is showing a man but he is fully covered up. But we got his car's number plate. The intelligence team is tracking him down. I will update you soon about this matter. How are the labours? "

" They are recovering from the injury. But one of them is critical. I will also update you soon about them. "

" Okay and uh make sure that Y/n-ssi along with Jeong Mi-ssi eat their lunch. "
