AUTHOR'S POV

Y/n was all set to go. Checking everything for one last time she sighed in relief. Looking at her reflection on the mirror. She picked her bag and made her way towards the living room where her husband was waiting.

Hearing her footsteps Jungkook looked up from his phone and smiled at the sight of his wife.

"Ready? " He asked and she gave a nod. Picking her luggage bag he intertwined their fingers together and headed towards the parking lot. After setting the luggage inside the car's trunk he sat inside the driver's seat.

"Sweetheart you know you could have waited for a day and we both could have gone together. " He sighs at last word. Y/n smiled and took his hand in her.

"My dear husband you shouldn't worry so much and I don't want to delay my arrival over there. I'm the one who will lead the camp so I have to efficient and punctual. " She explained and tried to make him understand the situation. Jungkook who understood everything but was still unsure of it.

Y/n drew soothing circles on his back hand. "Why? " She softly asked as if already knowing his next words.

"Nothing it's just... " He trailed off not knowing how to continue his statement.

"It's just that I am going alone" She completed it and Jungkook mindlessly gave a nod. His eyes was still focused on the road.

"And I am not alone. My colleagues will be there and I am sure that you have hired some guards to protect me." She assured him which was working.

"Yeah I guess you are right. And my wife knows to fight too" He teased her and she playfully hit his arm.

"Stop teasing me. " She said with her cheeks covered with a rosy tint. Jungkook smirked and gave a nod to her. The rest of the ride was filled with Jungkook's instructions and Y/n's assurance.

They reached the hospital's premises and saw the buses parked. Everyone was present over there. Y/n was about to step out but Jungkook was quick enough to catch her arm.

"Let me do the honors to escort you out Mrs. Jeon" He coyly said and got down of the car. He opened the door for Y/n and extended his hand to her. Y/n happily accepted his arm and they walked towards the entrance where everyone was waiting.

The directors and the senior doctors greeted Jungkook in respect and Jungkook just gave a curt nod to them. His personality changed in a second. He was now a businessman when he was talking with them.

Y/n greeted her colleagues and stood beside Jeong Mi and Yoongi came and gave his pleasantries to the ladies.

All three of them were having a chat while Jungkook kept an eye on his wife while talking to the directors who were trying to sweet talk with him.

"So Dr. Jeon ready for the camp? " Yoongi asked while fixing his glasses.

"Yes although a little nervous but I'm more than ready" Y/n confidently answered and Yoongi gave his small smile as if trying to sooth her worries.

"No need to worry much. You will do good. You are a skilled surgeon and I have faith in you. " Yoongi assured her.

Jeong mi was there physically but mentally she was waiting for someone. Y/n noticed her restlessness but didn't question.
