JUNGKOOK'S POV

After driving for 4 hours I finally reached the country town. I could feel people staring at my car but I didn't care. My mind was filled with sweetheart's thoughts. Was she okay? Why didn't she share with me if she wasn't doing fine?

I won't sit still when she is not okay. My car came to a halt when I pressed the breaks. Stepping out of the car I strode towards the stay house where she was.

Jeong mi-ssi noticed me and rushed towards me. From the look of her face I was notified that something was wrong.

"Finally you arrived. " She heaved a sigh of relief.

"Yeah but what's the matter? " I asked calmly but my concern was evident.

"She is sleeping but her state of mind isn't alright. She may smile at you but she has her own turmoil going on" She said as if she was warning me.

"Okay I will check her out" I said and moved inside the room. I watched my wife wrapped in her duvet like a burrito. Jeon Y/n has always been a confident lady but what I was witnessing today was the exact opposite.

The dry tear stain on her cheeks made her look vulnerable that made my heart clench. The agony which she went through I can't even imagine it.

Kneeling in front of her bed I brushed away few strands from her forehead which made her stirr in her sleep.

Slowly she fluttered open her eyes and absorbed my presence. I gave a warm smile to her and she got up.

"You came? " She asked

"Because you called " I replied.

I was on my knees and she sat straight on the bed. I could see few tears forming in her eyes. I took her in my embrace and softly asked, "What's wrong sweetheart? Tell me hm"

My tone was almost pleading and she sobbed in my arms. Each whimper and each sob which escaped her mouth stabbed right in my heart.

"I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry Jungkook" She kept on apologizing me and I was still unaware of the reason.

"Sweetheart look at me" I pulled away and tenderly took her face in my hands while wiping the tears away.

"You will never apologize to me. I repeat never. Atleast not for something in which you were never wrong " I gently spoke.

"It is my fault Jungkook. From the start it was my fault" She cried and poured her emotions in my arms.

"Let it out sweetheart. I'm here for you" I soothed her while patting her hair and rubbing her back.

What felt like an eternity she calmed down. She took my hand and made me sit beside her. Keeping her head on my shoulder and intertwining our hands just like our fates she started speaking.

"I completed my internship and was finally appointed as a surgeon.....

Bin Y/n had now became Dr. Bin Y/n.
Along with her friend Dr. Yeo Jeong mi. Both the young girls felt like they accomplished their dream with their hard work.

But whispers about Y/n was travelling behind her back. The word nepotism was her second name. Being the daughter of Bin Pharmaceuticals everyone thought that she became a doctor by bribing the upper hands of the hospital.
