The Songs were here and now our plan will start. I gave a nod to Jimin who secretly gave a smirk to me.

Taehyung hyung who had a goofy smile now his smile disappeared and a stern expression took place.

Y/n just stared at them with an unreadable face. My in-laws too didn't show any expression.

The sly smiles were still present on my rivals face. Their faces annoyed me would be an understatement because it made my blood boil.

Suddenly Song Yejin spoke, " It's our first time meeting Mrs Jeon and you look beautiful in real too"

My grip tighten around my wife's waist. Y/n gave a sweet smile but her eyes held a different emotion.

She started speaking, " Miss Song thanks for the compliment but I don't talk with people who try to hurt me with cheap tricks"

A proud smirk made it's way around my lips . Taehyung hyung and Jimin hyung snickered.

Song Yejin's smile flattered and Yehun spoke in anger, " Control your mouth Mrs. Jeon. It would be better for you. "

I was about to speak but my father in-law beat me in it. He said, " And Mr Song it would be better if you keep your threats to yourself. Otherwise I have my ways to make you know your place"

I could see both the siblings rage in silence. They were trying not to make a scene here. Because every business person loves their reputation and the grand ball is the place where prestigious people are invited.

So it's a good choice to keep their mouth shut. Song Yejin forced a chuckle and started saying, " We were here to just greet you all. But you all are treating us as if we are unwanted"

"Because you are unwanted Miss Song. " It was Kim Taehyung this time.

"And as far as I remember we are not on greeting basis" Jimin hyung retorted to them.

I was silent the whole time my chest filled with pride and nerves filled with satisfaction.

Song Yehun the venomous snake spoke, " I think you are forgetting about our warnings. Do we need to show more? And this time someone will meet the grim reaper soon. If you don't stop "

"And I will be the grim reaper for you Mr Song. If you don't stop now" I declared my voice was filled with threat. I could see fear in his eyes.

"Mr Jeon I think it's better if you behave. A word against my brother and I won't stand still" Song Yejin warned but it didn't affected me.

"Keep your brother in his place Miss Song. And you think I am standing still after what you did with my wife? You are mistaken. The show is gonna start soon" I said in mockery. They left the scene soon.

Jimin hyung and Taehyung hyung started chuckling after watching the Song sibling rush away.

Y/n asked me, "What did you do? "

"Have patience sweetheart. " I said softly while caressing her face.

The host announced, "Ladies and Gentlemen. The grand ball is incomplete without the ball dance so enjoy your time with your partners. "
