Y/n was limping while searching for an escape. She had escaped from them but the danger of them getting her back is still lingering.

She wanted nothing but just to be in his embrace. The man whose arms were like an anchor. The ones which provided warmth to her.

She was a mess, clothes were dusted, lips were having dry blood and few scratches in her arm. But her leg was sprained and it left a scar, a big bruise.

Passing through the forest road she saw a bus stand, an old one. It was already morning now. But too early for a human to wake up.

She sat on the rusty seat while whimpering. Tears formed and it streaked down her face. The exhaustion, the toll of everything came down now.

She was courageous in front of them but when left alone she couldn't help but cry. Every scenario was played like a movie in her mind.

Why was she the victim?
She is just a doctor who saves lives.
Then why did she face something horrific like this?

Those questions kept on repeating but she couldn't blame anyone. Not herself nor her husband. Because she was aware that it wasn't their fault in fact it was just for revenge.

And she was a perfect bait for this revenge.

Her whole body started aching, just like her heart. She wanted a peaceful life where she would be happy with her husband, explore new cafes with Jeong Mi, have a medical discussion with Yoongi, spend some time with her family, especially her grandfather.

But fate had it's own way to destroy it, she was sitting there being vulnerable. A place where no human was seen. Only the sky and trees were visible.

She was tired now, the exhaustion making her dizzy. Just then she heard the voice she wanted to hear.

"Y/n, sweetheart." Jungkook yelled in agony. He ran towards and gently took her in his arms.

"Everything is fine, I'm right here now." Tears streamed from his eyes too seeing her in this condition. She sobbed right in his arms.

Holding him like he would disappear. He rubbed her back and placed soft kisses on her head. While she silently cried in his embrace.

"I'm sorry, sweetheart. I'm so sorry." He whispered while biting down a cry. His heart ached but he was relived that he was with her now.

"It's not your fault. It would never be." She reassured him in this state too. He shook his head and picked her up. Walking towards the car.

He placed her at the passenger seat and she didn't let go his hand. Even while the ride she clutched him. And he would squeeze her hand to remind her that he is there.

Because at the end what matters the most is that they were together.
