Two days later.
I walk side by side with Dag within the school, my heart filled with anticipation. This is my first day in a real school, a milestone I once thought impossible. The new environment surrounds me, the buzz of students and the walls adorned with various decorations make my nerves flutter in excitement.
Dag glances at me, sensing my nervousness. He smiles softly and offers a gentle reassurance, his words comforting. "You look like you'll faint. Don't faint," His smile holds a hint of affection, his eyes full of reassurance.
I can't help but let out a nervous chuckle, his words bringing a sense of normalcy to the moment. "You're not helping," I murmur, my voice a mix of amusement and nervousness.
Fane saunters in with Sasha, a grin spread across his face. Sasha holds a bouquet in her arms, a mixture of beautiful blue roses. Sasha carries the flowers, her eyes fixed on Fane, a hint of adoration in her gaze.
He glances at Dag and me, his eyes filled with playful accusations. "Ugh, I got an F," he mutters, his tone slightly disgruntled, the fake annoyance adding to the mood."Oh, poor you," Dag mocks with a sarcastic tone, his smirk widening, enjoying Fane's predicament.
Fane lets out an exaggerated sigh, his words tinged with amusement. "And my smart little ballerina got an A as always," he remarks, a hint of admiration in his voice as he glances at Sasha.
A girl approaches us, her words filled with enthusiasm and a hint of boastfulness. "I got A!" she exclaims, a satisfied smile lighting up her face.
Dag glances at me, a note of amusement in his eyes. He leans in, speaking in a subtle undertone and whispers, "She's their childhood friend," he clarifies.
I respond with an acknowledgment, "Aha," my lips curved into a small smile. I take a moment to examine the girl, curious about her presence and the history she shares with Dag and the others.
The girl smiles and looks at me, her eyes filled with curiosity. She introduces herself with ease, her voice friendly. "You're the new one. I'm Finn. And you?"she says, her words forming a question. Her eyes meet mine, her face displaying an easygoing expression as she waits for my answer.
I offer my name in return, my voice steady, yet carrying a hint of shyness. "I'm Aerra," I reply softly, my response carrying a mix of curiosity and a bit of hesitation.
Finn's compliment catches me off guard, her words carrying a genuine touch of admiration. "You're so pretty," she says, her voice filled with sincerity and a hint of surprise. I can't help but blush, taken aback by her words. Her genuine smile and kind tone convey genuine admiration, making me feel both flattered and a bit shy.
Dag pulls me closer into a warm hug, a possessive gesture that speaks of protectiveness, his touch gentle yet firm."She's my girlfriend,"He says."And you have a boyfriend who happens to be my brother dont forget."The embrace gives me a sense of security and a reassurance of Dag's devotion to me.
Finn rolls her eyes and offers a cheeky retort, her words laced with light-hearted sarcasm. "How come she's your girlfriend? She's wow, and you're nah," she remarks.
I can't help but chuckle softly, the lighthearted moment bringing a sense of amusement.
I feel the moment broken as a ringing echoes through the air, a constant noise intruding upon our conversation.
Finn lets out a sigh, her expression filled with a mix of resignation and acceptance. "It's the bell, I have to go," she murmurs, her tone holding a hint of disappointment.
Ah,so it's the bell...
"I'll walk you to your classroom." Come,"Dag takes my hand, his touch gentle yet firm, a reassuring presence as he offers to accompany me. I accept Dag's hand.
