As I stand with Fane, Ivarsen, and Gunnar, my eyes remain fixed on the house, my heart pounding in my chest. I can feel a mix of anxiety and determination coursing through my veins, fueling my focus.

Gunnar's voice cuts through the silence, his words sending a ripple of tension through the group. "I found the second guy who kidnapped Aerra," he declares, his tone serious. "This is his house." Hearing this, I nod, my mind racing with thoughts of what we might find inside.

Ivarsen's suggestion hangs in the air, his words cutting through the silence. "He won't talk, I'm sure,"he states, his voice firm. "Let's take one of his people he loves."

"If I have to kill to get Aerra back, I'll do it," I say, my voice firm and resolute. The others exchange glances, they're surprise , but I stand my ground, my mind focused solely on rescuing Aerra...

Fane's voice interrupts my thoughts, a hint of grim humor in his tone. "Hopefully, we don't get to die or get in jail," he says, handing me a gun and a mask. I take them silently, my hands wrapping around the gun as I slip the mask over my face.

As Ivarsen speaks, I catch a glimpse of a smirk on his face. "Just as I thought my life in New York was boring," he says, his tone filled with irony.

Ivarsen's warning cuts through the air, his words a reminder of the need for discretion. "Dad doesn't know about this, nor Tavi. Let's keep it that way,"

Armed and masked, we make our way into the house, our footsteps muffled by the carpet. The adrenaline courses through my veins, my senses heightened as I scanned the surroundings for any sign of danger.

My mind is focused, my heart racing as I take the lead, opening the door and pointing my gun into the room.

Gunnar's voice breaks through the silence, his hand pointing towards a figure in the room. "This is him," he says, referring to the man sitting on the couch in front of us.

I notice a woman sitting next to the man, her hands raised in the air as if in surrender. The look of fear in her eyes is unmistakable, adding an extra layer of tension to the already charged atmosphere.

I take charge, my voice firm and demanding as I face the man on the couch. "You kidnapped a girl," I say. "Where's she?" My words hang in the air, the room silent as I wait for his response.

The woman's voice cuts in, her confusion evident as she turns to us, her gaze darting between us. "What is he talking about?" she asks, her voice shaking with fear. She looks genuinely shocked, her wide eyes fixed on us.

Ivarsen's harsh tone interrupts the woman, his words sharp and forceful. "You shut up,"he says, casting a warning look in her direction. Her eyes widen further, her body shrinking back in fear.

I raise my voice, my words sharp and direct as I press the man. "Where's she?!" I demand again, my hand gripping him tightly.

The man's voice is weak, his words coming out in gasps as he tries to answer. "I can't...say..."Despite the strain in his voice, I sense that he knows more than he's letting on.

Fane's voice cuts in, his words cold and calm. "You can't, huh?" he says, aiming his gun at the woman. Her fear increases as she shifts her gaze to Fane, her body trembling with terror.

The man's voice grows more desperate as he calls out. "No! Wait, wait!"His eyes widen as he pleads with us, the panic evident in his expression.

I return my focus to the man, my voice firm, and insistent. "Where's that girl?" The urgency in my voice is clear, my resolve unwavering as I wait for a response.

The sound of police sirens tears through the air, their urgent wailing breaking the tense silence that has enveloped the room. My senses go on high alert, my stomach clenching with anxiety as I exchange quick glances with the others.
