I wake up with a jolt, my vision groggy as my senses slowly adjust to the dim light of the room. My wrists are chained above my head, a tight restraint preventing any movement. The cold chains bite into my skin, the metal a stark contrast to my wrists. Confusion and panic threaten to overwhelm me as I try to take in my surroundings.
"You look good, Dag," she says, her smirk growing. Her presence is cold and mocking, her demeanor sending a wave of unease through me.
My voice rises in frustration and worry, and the demands ring out. "You bitch!" My emotions are raw, my concern for Aerra evident in my tone. I demand, desperation and frustration in my words. "Where's Aerra?!"
Emilia's face hardens, her eyes filled with a mix of amusement and spite. The mention of my frustration and worry for Aerra triggers her amusement, a cold laugh escaping her lips.
"Oh, you're worried about your precious Aerra? How adorable," she says, her mocking tone dripping with sarcasm.
Her sarcasm and lack of empathy are infuriating, my worry and frustration growing with each exchange. I struggle against my restraints, the chains clinking as I try to break free, my desperation and concern for Aerra escalating.
"Just tell me where she is!" I exclaim, my voice carrying a mix of anger and anguish.
"Think about yourself now, not her," she says, her tone dismissive as if Aerra's safety is insignificant. Her words only fuel my anger and worry.
"Don't you remember," she says, her tone almost mocking. "You told me to show you my madness." Her words carry a twisted sense of fulfillment, as if she's been waiting for this moment, her actions now showing her true nature. She leans in close, her words filled with a mix of smug triumph and a hint of something darker.
"Here I am, showing you," she says, her voice carrying a tinge of satisfaction. Her words echo with a sense of twisted accomplishment, as if she's proving something to me, or perhaps to herself.
Emilia's proposition catches me off guard, my eyes narrowing with a mix of caution and intrigue. "Let's make a deal," she says.
Emilia's words struck me like a lightning bolt, her voice cutting through the tension."Take this gun and shoot yourself, and I swear it on you. I'll leave Aerra to live her life in peace."
My gaze locks onto Emilia's, the weight of her request hanging heavily between us. "Okay" I say, the word slipping from my lips, the agreement forming on my tongue before my mind has the chance to catch up.As she releases me from the chains, Emilia's movements are deliberate and slow. She approaches me, her steps echoing through the room. The chains clink as they fall, the sound carrying through my ears. Her eyes meet mine, holding my gaze as she hands me the gun, her satisfaction evident in her gaze.
I take the gun and put it on my head.Without a second thought, I shot.
Emilia's sudden change from triumph to panic is a stark contrast. Panic and fear wash over her face as she calls out."You!"
Emilia's fear and confusion are evident in her voice, shock etched on her face. Her words betray her surprise, her tone filled with fear.
"What did you do? How could you shoot yourself!""It's empty.Give me bullets."I say
With my hand grasping her collar tightly, my grip firm, I meet her gaze with a steely resolve. "I can die for her," I say.My gaze hardens, my grip on her collar tightening slightly.
"And kill," I speak with a finality, emphasizing that I would not hesitate to take drastic measures for Aerra's safety.Suddenly, a gun presses against my head, Link's voice coming with a command. "Leave her," he says, his words sharp and firm. My attention is pulled towards the new threat, the gun held to my head.
