(So when I first started writing my fan-fictions I was a complete noob so I didn't know who to get the guy and girl together so I just sprinkled in some magic and ta-da!)
But when it's the first chapter an the OC falls in love with the boy/girl in the first chapter... MAN! WHAT ARE YOU THINKING!?
WAIT UNTIL THE 5-8 CHAPTER UNTIL THAT SAPPY LOVE STUFF HAPPENS!
Chapter 1
Hi my name is Elizabeth Hanning and i was lookin for a hot boy to date in school, because I'm new and all and lyk I tots want to make my friends jelly in my old school!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ANYWAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I dumped... Lol HAHAHA I literally bumped into him......... Into a football player and he's hottie!!!!!

GGGGOOOOOOOOD his eyes were icy blue and he had white skin and blonde hair.

I feel like most fan-fictions are like that.
I get if your new and all, that makes sense because your new to the writing thing.
I mean when I look back at my two first fan-fictions (The Dixion's Daughter and The Governor's Daughter) I am embarrassed!
I look, no, re-read it and I think to myself... "Why? Why is it in the second chapter the OC is dating the guy?"
I can't read though the second chapter without signing at my book.

Then there's how the person asks the other one out, sometimes it's so straight forward. Others are at bad timing!
Here are some tips!
1) Setting
Make sure that the way the OC is asked out has an appropriate setting.
Example:
Zombie Apocalypse
The OC and guy/girl should be all dirty and they aren't in the middle of killing zombies.
2) Time
This gets me mad.
Really mad!
The timing is always bad!
Example:
OC is about/going to die and the guy/girl says "I LOVE YOU! Please live so we can have some sex later!"
3) Mood
Okay when girls are on their period we (mostly all of us, unless your 10 or something like that) goes through mood swings.
We're angry, sad, happy, and blah blah blah.
Periods... BAD TIME TO BE ASKED OUT!
Other times the OC could have been ROASTED (Dissed) really badly and is crying their heart out... The guy can't just go "hey sexy I love you! Romance Now!"
HOW FUCKING SELFISH OF YOU!
If someone ever said they love me and we should go out I would said "FUCK NO! I'm crying and the only thing you cared about is us!?"
But seriously guys, I love you should be at special moments!
