Author's Note: This chapter is dedicated to Carmine and Drew Elrod because it's their birthday.
"Please don't get the wrong idea! I'm forced to by my Dad," Elliot says softly with sadness in his eyes.
"Elliot, don't care about your dad. Please let us go, especially Ember," Milly whispered back.
"I have an idea though. Pretend to shove me aside and go. I think that's the only way this will work."
And so Milly pretended to shove Elliot and he pretended to fall onto the floor. I could see as we were running that Milly was worried about Elliot. When we got out she said, "We need to help Elliot! He'll be chained his whole life if we don't help him!"
"There's nothing much we can do. After all, his parents are definitely going to be after us. It's up to the authorities now because we saved our friends so let's just get back to normal," Hailey said.
Everyone silently agreed except Carmi, Sean, Drew, and Milly. I myself didn't agree because I didn't want to screw up again like I did with Jake and Carmi. So I group with them and whisper, "We're going to secretly do it anyways right?"
"That's what I want to do," Milly said, her eyes shining with hope.
"We need to plan this out accordingly though if we want this to work then we need to plan this out well," Sean said, nodding in understanding.
"That means living our normal lives and pretending that we have moved on. Are you alright with that Milly?" I point out.
"If it helps Elliot then sure," Milly said, shrugging.
"Good then we'll multi-task and free Elliot from his pressure," Carmi said.
"Hey Jake, can I talk to you?" I asked.
"Sure, what's up?" Jake says.
"Just know that if you break Hailey's heart and do anything to her then I'll hunt for your blood and kill you," I say, moving a sideway thumbs up across my neck.
Jake nodded in fear and I returned to my usual demeanor. Though I meant what I said about breaking Hailey's heart. I might even be a pyromaniac and just burn him up to ashes. Meh anyways, we all headed back home. Milly had to catch back up with all the construction projects she ignored just to find Jake, Carmi needed to review the sub notes for her class behavior, Luke and Hailey were going to take care of Cat, everyone from the Homies had their own business to deal with, and me and Jake needed to go to our Police departments to report our stuff.

I sigh as I eat my sandwich and rest my cheek on my left hand. Zoey, who had snuck in here as a "school administrator", noticed and said, "Alright what's up? You've been pretty dull for practically the whole day."
"I can't stop thinking about how Elliot is trapped by his own dad and how he can't be who he wants to be."
"But there's-"
"Nothing we can do and we can leave it up to the proper authorities. That's what everyone says but do they even have power against a powerful and influential video game company that Henry still buys video games from? I don't think so," I say with frustration.
"Wait, Henry still buys video games from there?" Zoey asked with confusion.
"Yeah, he said that they have great quality anime video games."
Zoey pondered over what I said and replied, "You know? Do we even know a thing about Elliot's mom?"
Realization struck me as I said, "Actually, he's never talked about his mom. Athora talks a lot about her dad but not her mom."
