Author's note: Hi guys, I've been kind of busy so I haven't had the time to post the chapters that I made. Trying to keep up with school and all, so I'm just doing my best. Have fun and this time I can't really post a picture because my focus right now is to post the chapters ASAP.
"Hey Carmi, look at these really cool rocks," 3rd grade Drew called out.
As a 3rd grader myself I came over and saw that both rocks were jade green and shaped like a heart. It was really pretty as it shone in the sun. Drew gave me one of the hearts and said, "We'll keep it as a reminder of our friendship."
There was a voice calling out my name until I woke up and realized that Drew was waking me up.
"Carmine, mom says to get up before you get late," Drew says with disinterest.
"Yeah I'm up," I say.
Drew then noticed the green heart that I made into a necklace. I never took it off because it looked pretty.
"You still kept that?"
"Yeah, did you?"
"I guess but I don't look at it much."
That ended the conversation and Drew left my room. I sigh and get out. My routine is so boring because it doesn't have anything interesting. Just wake up, ignore my parents paying more attention to Drew, do school (while seeing Jake), and try to stay away from home as much as possible (best case scenario: I have a sleepover with Jake). Some time later, Henry and Jake wait for me so that I can walk with them.
"Sup Walmart Deku and my star friend," I say playfully.
"This Walmart Deku has finally finished A Galaxy Next Door," Henry said proudly.
"Is it good?"
"The part where the guy shows his feelings through a manga and they love each other even more? That was one of the best endings ever!"
"I know right? And Girl Beats Boy is really good too. That was pure girlboss."
"Um guys, kind of lost here," Jake said, getting confused at our anime nerd talks.
"Oh sorry Jake, how's life," I say, realizing that Jake was being left out.
"Well, I can't say it's heaven with Zander always thinking that I'm going to betray them; however, it isn't hell because I'm finally pursuing my interests."
"Please, anyone can sing," Henry said, rolling his eyes.
"Alright then you sing," Jake said, raising his eyebrows at him.
We headed over to a table in the cafeteria after we got to school and got breakfast. Henry then cleared his throat and started singing a bit off key (other than that he was actually good).
(Imagine this as Henry's singing. *goes off to a corner and laughs so hard because that's so typical of Henry*)
"And I was like baby, baby, baby ooooh. Baby, baby, baby ooooh."
I swear that everyone looked over at Henry. I bet even Justin Bieber would've done the same.
"Yeah yeah, shut up now. My ears are bleeding," I say sarcastically.
Henry shuts up when he realizes that everyone is looking at him, especially Drew and Liam. I honestly feel sorry for the poor guy when Drew brutally says that he was acting like a music freak wannabe and other stuff that I tuned out. Zander is just smirking and he walks over and says, "Well, looks like our tormentors have no musical talent whatsoever. What's the matter? Cat stole your voice."
