It was supposed to be a "respectable" family gathering — the Blacks' attempt to keep up appearances for once. But with Sirius and Regulus in attendance, no one should've expected it to go smoothly.

As the extended family gathered under the ornate Black family banner, Regulus leaned over to Narcissa with a mischievous glint in his eye.

"What's the punishment for annoying my mother during this beautiful family reunion?" he asked with a smirk.

Without missing a beat, Narcissa responded, "A two-day grounding." Her eyes widened suddenly. "Wait—Regulus!"

He was already halfway across the room, bellowing for all to hear: “Sirius is dating a werewolf!”

The room fell silent, save for Walburga’s sharp intake of breath.

“Regulus, what?!” Narcissa shrieked.

Bellatrix’s wand hand twitched, her expression murderous. "A filthy blood traitor! How could you?" she hissed.

Their father, Bellatrix's and Narcissa's, Cygnus, muttered to himself, “It was a good idea to disinherit him.”

“An utter disgrace to our family!” Walburga spat, her voice dripping with venom.

Not to be outdone, Sirius threw his own twist into the fire. “Reggie is dating James Potter!” he declared, eyebrows raised in defiance.

Regulus scoffed, unbothered. “At least he’s a pureblood. I followed one of the rules that they had to be pureblood. Yours is a half-blood!” He grinned, relishing the scandalized expressions of his family.

And as the yelling erupted, the Black family reunion devolved into chaos—exactly the way Sirius and Regulus had planned.
