Chapter I

Lightbulb was sitting on her bed with Baxter, then she heard a knock at her hotel door so she went to check it out, it was paintbrush, "Heya painty!!!" lightbulb said, "Hey lightbulb" said paintbrush, "anyways what'cha doin here brush full of paintttt???" said the bulb, "well I was wondering if you wanted to go outside with me" paintbrush said, "oh of course I do!", "well then let's go", they both walked through the halls of the hotel, "heya painty should we ask if testy and flat face want to join?" lightbulb asked, "ehhhh I guess its fine" painty-brushy said, "Woohoo! Let's ask already!" lightbulb shouted in excitement, "alright alright" they walk back to lightbulb's room to ask testube to come,"golly gee, sure I'll come!" they then went to paintbrush's room to ask fan," really! With testube too? Of course I'll come just let me grab my phone!" once fan got his phone they grabbed some water since it was a bright sunny day and went outside. They felt the warm coldish breeze on them, it was refreshing but kinda hot at the same time, "painty I forgot Baxter! I'mma go get em!" lightbulb said, "alright we'll be here when you comeback" paintbrush said then testube and fan nodded, "thanks!" lightbulb said then went back inside, "now where are ya Baxter the crab?" lightbulb said then looked around her room, "uuuggghh Baxter where you at?" lightbulb looks around more and finds a little shard of a gem, "what is this" she squints her eyes and pulls it closer towards her eyes, "seems cool!.. I'll probably show everyone later.. I mean how bad could it be to pick up a random gem?" she looks around for a little case she might have due to her always collecting stuff,"this seems like a good case to put the gem in!.. Now let's see how it fits" she puts the shard inside the case and closed it, "pretty nice!", she puts it under her bed, "alrighty now where are ya Baxter?" she looked under her blanket and found him,"oh ther'ya are!" let's go back to the others now!" she said as she went back outside."Heya guy found Baxter!" lightbulb said,"oh your finally back lightbulb! Also what took you so long" fan said,"oh, don't tell them, errrr... It's cause it was a bit of a struggle to find Baxter.. Heh!" lightbulb said,"uhhh.. Alright then! Now let's eat some food I got while you were gone!" said fan, everyone nodded, they all grabbed some bread and ate it, they played around a bit doing classic games like patty cake, eye spy, and guessing what others thought, the daytime soon became sunrise as the sun settled, "guess we should get going now" said testube pointing towards the sky, everyone nodded in agreement, they soon gathered up every thing and went inside, "I'm gonna go to my room!" said lightbulb, "alright!" said paintbrush. Lightbulb went into her room and took the gem shard out of the bottom of the bed, "wonder what this is... Maybe I could tell testu-don't, uhhh... What the?" she said as the gem shard glowed when she heard the word "don't"..."ehhh strange I don't think it matters", she shut the case and put it back under the bed, "I'm getting tired I should sleep now" she yawns and gets onto the bed comforting herself in the blanket, she slowly falls asleep still thinking about the weird gem and voice.
