After a few weeks of multiple tests and observations, their boss had given them the permission to get volunteers. Medkit was assigned to use the green, teal crystals, since he had more understanding with healing properties. Tripmine was assigned to the pink crystals, but they don't know much about it yet. Since they knew a lot more about the green crystals, they were more focused on those instead.

As much as they know, the green crystals can heal cuts and wounds, but they still have many questions and theories they want to discover. Tripmine suggested having as many volunteers as possible for this experiment, so they did. Posters and signs were around the city for anyone willing to participate, and after weeks of waiting they started having a few participants! A few would be like two or three, it's not a lot but it's enough.

Unfortunately for Tripmine, he didn't get a volunteer yet. It's upsetting of course, since he was really excited. But if he had to wait longer, then he could try. If he does have to wait, he could help Medkit or continue building the Biograft.

Hours into days, days into weeks.

Tripmine hasn't gotten a single volunteer yet. He waited impatiently. He waited for a phone call or an email, but nothing. He checked in the mail, but still nothing. Medkit was making more progress with his crystals, but not Tripmine.

Sure, he had the Biograft to build, but since it's just him working on it and no one else, it was getting difficult. Especially when you have ADHD, so he couldn't concentrate well. Every hour he had to get up and walk around, talk to Medkit, or get a snack.

Sometimes he would lend a hand for Medkit and his progress on the green crystals. He would mostly help take notes for Medkit since he had to use his hands to examine the crystals, crush them, and put them on his volunteers. Through Tripmine's observations he noticed a few things about the teal crystals. He wrote them all down on the clipboard just so he wouldn't forget.

Medkit talked to his last volunteer for the night, explaining exactly what he wants them to do until next week. He handed them a few small pieces of crystals and sent them off. With a sigh of relief, he walked over to Tripmine, who was slouching on the couch and being bored to death.

"Sorry for the wait, our last guy wasn't being cooperative with me." Medkit apologized and he sat beside the red demon.

Tripmine yawned and stretched his back like a cat. "It's fine, I just wanna go home now..."
