story summary: The creation of the robot is finished, and their ends are coming soon. Very soon.

Probably the SHORTEST chapter out of all of them, but it's because I need to get this part of the story out of the way.(because I believe this part of the story is going to be important!!)

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Subspace checked his laptop again and reread the coding he did to the robot. It was almost finished, and it just needed one more thing to be completed. It's been months since he's been working on this! Almost a year now. He was so close to the finishing goal, and he couldn't wait.

He double checked the robot's system and parts for any loose cables, misplaced plates, and crooked LED lights. When he felt satisfied, he stood up proudly and walked over to Medkit's room.

"Oh Meddy~!!" Subspace chirped. "Could I borrow your crystal for a moment?"

Medkit looked up at him with tired looking eyes, and he sighed. "This better not be for yourself. If you're going to use your crystals on yourself aga-"

"Uggh, no I'm not!!" Subspace cut him off. "Just give me a crystal, it's for the robot."

Medkit sighed again. He picked one of his crystals and walked over to Subspace to hand it over. "There, and this better be only for the robot."

"Thanks, Meddy!!" Subspace grinned and walked off and back into his room. He was so excited, the Biograft was nearly in completion.

The last thing that Subspace needed to do now was to add a crystal as its life source. Both Medkit and Subspace agreed to use crystals instead of batteries and whatever useless junk for the robot. They wanted to make sure the higher ups knew that this robot was going to be special .

Subspace opened the hatch on the Biograft's chest. Inside there, was a small open space that was specially designed for only crystals to power the robot's system. He placed the teal glowing crystal inside and closed the hatch. He went back onto his laptop, and made sure all the codes were copied into the robot. Everything looked right, so he finally commanded the robot to wake up.

"Biograft!! Turn on!!"

The eyes and horns flickered an orange color, and then they glowed in a perfect vibrant orange. Its eye blinked once then twice, then scanned the room until it spotted Subspace.

There was an odd awkward silence between them. "Hm, I wonder, did I make sure that the robot could talk?-"

"PLEASE STATE YOUR NAME, CREATOR."

"OH MY ILLUMINA-" Subspace nearly jumped. "D-don't scare me like that, you!"

"PLEASE STATE YOUR NAME, CREATOR."

"...Uggh, it's Subspace." He groaned. "Subspace T. Mine, your creator."

"SUBSPACE T. MINE." It repeated. "ADDING TO THE SYSTEM."

It made a whirring sound inside of its metallic body but soon it stopped. "IDENTITY FOUND."

"That's great!" Subspace grinned. "Now, can you-"

"WHAT ARE YOUR ORDERS, CREATOR?" The Biograft interrupted.

"I-... As I was saying, can you grab a pink crystal from that crate over there at my desk and hand it to me?"

The robot scanned its surroundings, and soon it stood up and walked over to the box and picked up a crystal. It returned back and handed it to Subspace's palm. "HERE YOU GO, CREATOR."
