The large family mansion was unusually quiet after Y/N's departure. The echoes of laughter and warmth from earlier in the morning had faded, replaced by the weight of an unspoken tension that hung in the air. One by one, each of the Dominico siblings went about their usual routines-handling their businesses, checking reports, managing empires-but for Ryu Sio, something was different.

His usual composed demeanor was nowhere to be found. As the rest of the family settled back into their daily tasks, Ryu Sio retreated to the solitude of his room. The door clicked shut behind him, and the silence was almost suffocating. The fear that had crept into his heart ever since Y/N's mission was confirmed now began to claw at him with intensity.

He paced the room, his mind replaying every moment of their farewell-the last time he would see her, hear her voice, feel her presence as a constant in his life. He had always known Y/N as the ice-cold, fearless woman who never showed weakness. But now that she was gone, his protective instincts were at war with the helplessness he felt deep inside. He couldn't shake the image of her alone in a foreign country, fighting battles that were meant for people like her father, like them. What if something went wrong? What if she didn't come back?

The weight of the fear-something he was never accustomed to-finally broke through, and Ryu Sio sank down onto his bed, his hands trembling. His thoughts were a storm of uncertainty, of what-ifs that gnawed at him relentlessly. His breath hitched in his chest, and his eyes burned with the beginning of tears. He couldn't lose her. Not like they lost their other sister. That would destroy him.

---

Vincenzo Dominico, the eldest brother, was in his study, poring over business reports, when he heard the sound of soft footsteps approaching his door. It was almost as though he could sense the tension in the air, an unspoken weight that seemed to cling to his family after Y/N left. He paused for a moment, the feeling of unease gnawing at his stomach.

Without thinking, he stood and walked toward Ryu Sio's room. He knew the younger brother had always been protective of Y/N, just like the rest of them. Ryu Sio, though often seen as the calm and composed one, had a deep, quiet affection for his sister, even if he rarely showed it.

He knocked softly on the door. No answer.

Vincenzo opened it slowly, stepping inside. His gaze immediately went to Ryu Sio, who was sitting on his bed, his face buried in his hands, fighting back tears. The sight of his brother, usually so strong, so reliable, brought a tightness to Vincenzo's chest.

"Ryu Sio," he said quietly, stepping forward and sitting beside him. His voice was gentle, filled with a rare tenderness that he didn't often show. "You know Y/N is strong. She's trained for this. She can handle herself."

But Ryu Sio only shook his head, his voice breaking. "I should've been there with her. I shouldn't have let her go alone. What if something happens to her? I can't lose her, Vincenzo. Not like... like we lost our other sister. I can't bear it."

Vincenzo's expression softened, and he placed a hand on his younger brother's shoulder, his own thoughts reflecting a deep, familiar pain. "I know, Ryu Sio. I know how you feel." He paused for a moment, swallowing the lump in his throat. "But she's not alone. She's doing this for all of us, for the family. And we've all trained her well. We've raised her to be strong, to be capable."

The weight of the words settled between them, but Vincenzo could see the fear in Ryu Sio's eyes, the same fear that had taken root in his own heart when they had said goodbye to Y/N.

---

Elsewhere in the mansion, Min Seo and Yeon Su were in their respective rooms, both preoccupied with the tasks at hand, but their thoughts constantly drifting back to their sister. Yeon Su, who was known for his sharp business mind, had never been one to let his emotions show. But now, as he looked over the reports and the world events unfolding in front of him, he couldn't stop thinking about Y/N. His heart, too, ached with the worry that she might be in danger.

He stood up abruptly, walking toward Min Seo's office. He knocked once, and when the door opened, Min Seo's eyes met his with a knowing glance. There was no need for words between them. They both knew what the other was feeling-the gnawing, all-consuming fear that had rooted itself deep inside.

"Is it wrong to be scared?" Yeon Su asked, his voice unusually soft, his usual bravado absent.

Min Seo's expression was unreadable, but his eyes spoke volumes. "No, it's not. We all feel it, Yeon Su. But Y/N... she would want us to stay strong. Not for her sake, but for ours. We can't let our fears control us."

Yeon Su let out a small, bitter laugh. "It's easier said than done."

Min Seo's eyes softened as he placed a reassuring hand on his older brother's shoulder. "I know. But we're a family. We'll make it through this together."

---

Back in Ryu Sio's room, Vincenzo watched his younger brother in silence. The air was thick with the shared understanding of their fears, but none of them voiced it aloud. It was a bond they all carried silently-the fear that they could lose the one person they all loved so fiercely. The fear that Y/N, despite her strength, could be taken from them.

"I'm scared too, you know," Vincenzo said, breaking the silence once again, his voice steady but tinged with emotion. "We've all lost something before. I don't want to lose her."

Ryu Sio nodded, wiping his eyes. "I don't know how I'd live with myself if something happened to her."

Vincenzo stood, offering a hand to Ryu Sio. "We don't have to think like that. We'll keep her in our hearts, and we'll stay strong for her. That's what she would want."

Ryu Sio took his brother's hand, feeling the steady strength in his grasp. It was enough to calm his racing heart, if only just for a moment.

One by one, the brothers, all in their own separate rooms, sat in silence, thoughts consumed by the one person who had always been their strength-Y/N. And as the weight of their fears settled upon them, they found comfort in knowing they weren't alone in their worry. Together, they would face whatever was to come. Together, they would protect their sister-even from miles away.
