The days following the reconstruction of U.A. had been a blur. The students returned to their studies, but the atmosphere had changed. It wasn’t the same. Class 1-A, once a group of cheerful, close-knit friends, had become a shell of what they used to be. There was an unspoken distance between them, a thick, suffocating silence that weighed heavily in the air.

Bakugo, in particular, had become a completely different person. He barely spoke to anyone, even during class. His friends tried everything they could think of to cheer him up, but all their efforts were in vain. The fire that once burned so brightly inside him had been extinguished, replaced by a hollow ache that nothing could fix.

The days turned into weeks, and still, he couldn't forget Y/N. His thoughts were consumed with her—the woman he loved, the woman who had disappeared without a trace after the attack. The memories of their time together haunted him, but they only brought more pain. He didn’t understand why she pushed him away, why she’d chosen to cut him out of her life so completely.

Then, one fateful day, U.A. was attacked again. This time, Lov and his mafia allies had returned, more determined than ever to finish what they started.

The school was thrown into chaos as the villains launched their attack, but amidst the chaos, something unexpected happened. From out of nowhere, Y/N arrived, flanked by her seven mafia allies. They swept through the battlefield with surgical precision, taking down Lov’s men with ruthless efficiency.

Y/N moved like a force of nature, her presence commanding the space around her. Her once warm, kind demeanor had been replaced with a cold, merciless energy. This was the Y/N that no one knew—the mafia queen that led an empire of power, wealth, and fear. She was a shadow of the girl they once knew, but in that moment, she was everything they needed.

"Kenma," Y/N ordered sharply, her voice cutting through the battle, "take Class 1-A, 1-B, and 2-A to my mansion. It's the safest place right now."

Kenma nodded, his face calm as always, and began ushering the students toward safety. But Bakugo wasn’t going anywhere.

"No." His voice was low, laced with frustration. "I'm not leaving until I get my answers."

Y/N’s eyes flickered to him, a brief moment of emotion passing through her cold exterior, but it quickly vanished. She stepped closer to him, her expression unreadable.

"Bakugo, please," she said quietly, her voice edged with a rare trace of vulnerability. "This isn't the place for you to be right now. Go with Kenma."

But Bakugo wasn’t having it. He shook his head, his fists clenched at his sides. "I’m not going anywhere without understanding why you pushed me away. You think I can just forget about everything? About us?"

Y/N’s gaze hardened, and she turned away from him. "This is not about you. This is bigger than you or me. I have my responsibilities, Bakugo. You wouldn't understand."

Bakugo wasn’t going to let her walk away this time. He reached out and grabbed her wrist, pulling her back to face him.

"Then make me understand," he demanded, his voice thick with emotion. "Tell me what’s really going on. Tell me why you’ve changed. Why are you so cold now? Why are you shutting me out?"

Y/N stared at him for a long moment, her expression unreadable. Her mind raced, torn between the need to protect him from the truth and the overwhelming desire to let him in. But she couldn’t. Not now. Not with everything that was at stake.

"I don’t want you to get hurt, Bakugo," she said, her voice colder than ever. "I’ve already lost too much. I can’t lose you too."

Bakugo’s eyes softened for a moment, but the hurt in his chest grew heavier. "I’m not going anywhere," he said, his voice firm. "Not unless you push me away for good."

Y/N sighed, her breath shaky as she gave him one last look. She could see the hurt in his eyes, the confusion, but she also saw the love he still had for her. It hurt her more than anything.

"Fine," she said, her voice distant. "Come with me. But stay out of my way. This is my world now, and you don’t belong in it."

And so, with that, Bakugo followed her, stepping into her world of darkness, danger, and power. The mansion that awaited them was far grander than her previous one, its imposing structure hidden behind high gates and guarded by her loyal mafia members.

When they arrived, the students of 1-A, 1-B, and 2-A were left in a stunned silence. The mansion was far beyond anything they could have imagined. The grandeur of it, the cold luxury that dripped from every corner, made them realize just how far Y/N had truly fallen into this world of crime and power. It was a world they couldn’t touch, couldn’t understand.

Tomo, Jun, Misuzu, and the others stood nearby, watching as Y/N led Bakugo and the rest of the students into the mansion. But something was wrong. The atmosphere was tense, the air thick with unspoken emotions.

Bakugo watched Y/N closely, seeing the woman she had become. She was not the same Y/N who smiled at him, who held his hand when they walked together. She was someone else now—someone far more dangerous, far more distant.

"Y/N…" he whispered, his voice thick with regret and longing. "What happened to you?"

But Y/N didn’t answer. She couldn’t. The woman she once was was lost, buried beneath the weight of her responsibilities, her choices, and the life she’d chosen to lead.

As the students were led through the mansion, they couldn’t help but wonder how someone so warm and kind could become so cold, so detached from everything they once knew.

And for Bakugo, the pain of seeing Y/N like this—seeing the woman he loved turn into someone unrecognizable—was almost too much to bear.
