Alexander’s Private Resort, Late Evening.

The evening is well underway, and Alexander’s exclusive resort is buzzing with music, laughter, and indulgence.

A number of Alexander’s friends and beautiful women populate the rooms, each involved in their own intoxicating night of pleasure and excitement. In the lavish main suite, Noah is entertaining his latest conquest, and his uninhibited laughter echoes through the open doors.

Meanwhile, on the suite’s private balcony, Alexander sits quietly, lost in his thoughts. The cool breeze ruffles his hair as he gazes out at the shimmering pool below, feeling detached from the party inside. Siya’s face, her shy smiles, her gentle innocence—all flash through his mind, haunting him with a sense of purity he’s never experienced.

Inside, Noah’s voice rises, followed by a feminine giggle. He’s clearly having a good time, but it isn’t long before he notices Alex’s absence. Throwing on a towel, he crosses to the balcony, his expression curious and slightly concerned.

Noah: (grinning, slightly out of breath) "Alex! You’re out here sulking again? Thought you’d be with us, man. What’s going on?"

Alexander turns, offering a faint, distracted smile.

Alexander: "Just needed some air. It’s been a long day."

Noah studies him closely, noting the uncharacteristic weariness in his friend’s eyes. He frowns, running a hand through his messy hair.

Noah: "Hey, I’ve been noticing you’re… off lately. Even at the last party. And today—" (gestures to the girl behind him) "You’re not your usual self, Alex. Don’t tell me you’re going all sentimental on me."

Alexander lets out a sigh, leaning against the balcony railing, still avoiding Noah’s gaze.

Alexander: "It’s… complicated. My father wants me to step up as the next CEO of Derlyn Group. Had a meeting today—he basically laid out his whole plan for my life."

Noah raises an eyebrow, visibly surprised.

Noah: "The big job, huh? Wow, that’s huge. So you’re going to be the head of everything? Honestly, I didn’t see that coming."

He lets out a low whistle, his expression a mix of envy and awe. He claps Alex on the back, though his usual humor is tinged with a hint of sadness, realizing what it could mean for their carefree lifestyle.

Noah: "Look, man, I know you’ve got a lot on your plate now, but… you can’t let it mess with your head. You’re Alexander Van Derlyn, for god’s sake! You should be celebrating. This responsibility doesn’t mean you have to give up everything that makes you… well, you."

Alexander forces a chuckle, but his mind drifts back to Siya. The innocence in her gaze, her pure passion for music—qualities so foreign to the world he knows. He doesn’t mention her, though; her presence in his life feels too personal, too precious to share, even with Noah.

Noah: (eyeing him suspiciously) "Come on, Alex. Out with it. There’s something else, isn’t there?"

Alexander: (shaking his head, deflecting) "Nothing else, Noah. Just… feeling the weight of what’s ahead, that’s all."

Noah gives him a knowing look, but he lets it go, opting instead to try and bring his friend back into the mood of the party.

Noah: "Well, you know what you need? A distraction. And lucky for you, there are a ton of distractions here tonight."

He waves a hand toward the room, where several women are glancing in their direction with inviting smiles. Noah grabs a girl by the hand and playfully nudges her toward Alexander.

Noah: "Go on, man! Loosen up. Forget about the whole CEO thing, the pressure… everything. Just let go and enjoy."

Alexander hesitates, but Noah insists, giving him a gentle push toward the bedroom. Reluctantly, Alexander lets himself be led by one of the girls, her laughter light and intoxicating as she pulls him into a private room.

Private Room, Moments Later.

The lights are dimmed, and the air is scented with a rich fragrance that would normally excite him. The girl, a striking brunette, is already slipping out of her dress, her eyes locked on Alexander with a mixture of desire and mischief. She steps closer, her fingers trailing along his shirt as she begins unbuttoning it, her touch slow and deliberate.

Girl: (whispering) "Relax, Alex. Let me help you unwind…"

She presses her lips to his neck, her hands sliding up his chest, making her intentions clear. Alexander feels the pull of her touch, her warmth seeping into him as she guides him toward the bed. The girl kisses him passionately, her movements hungry, as if eager to lose herself in him.

Alexander responds initially, his hands moving to her bare back, but the memory of Siya’s soft smile, the innocence in her eyes, starts to seep into his mind. The kiss slows, his grip loosening as he struggles to stay in the moment.

He pulls away slightly, his gaze distant.

Girl: (pouting) "What’s wrong, Alex? You’re usually… well, more enthusiastic."

He tries to shake off the thoughts of Siya, focusing instead on the girl in front of him. But Siya’s image remains vivid, persistent. Every time he closes his eyes, it’s her face he sees, her gentle presence that fills the room.

Finally, he lets out a frustrated sigh, stepping back from the bed.

Alexander: (quietly) "I… I’m sorry. I just… can’t."

The girl looks at him, confused and disappointed.

Girl: "Are you serious? Alexander Van Derlyn… turning down a night of fun?"

Alexander forces a faint smile, grabbing a towel and wrapping it around himself as he backs toward the door.

Alexander: "I just have a lot on my mind tonight. It’s… not you."

He doesn’t look back, quickly leaving the room and heading back to the balcony, where he takes a deep breath, letting the night air clear his mind. Noah, noticing his return, raises an eyebrow, smirking.

Noah: (teasingly) "That was quick. Don’t tell me you chickened out?"

Alexander: (sighing) "Maybe I just wasn’t in the mood."

Noah studies him, a spark of suspicion in his eyes. He opens his mouth as if to press further, but ultimately decides to let it go.

Noah: "Suit yourself. Just remember, man, you’re about to step into a whole new world of responsibilities. Enjoy this while you can. Whatever it is that’s got you so distracted… maybe it’s best to keep it simple, you know?"

Alexander nods, though he knows deep down that his thoughts of Siya aren’t something he can simply shake off. Her presence has awakened something in him—a desire for something genuine, something far from the shallow pleasures he’s grown accustomed to.

As he stands on the balcony, staring into the night, a realization settles over him: Siya is changing him in ways he never anticipated, and he’s not sure if he can stop it—even if he wanted to.
