Cafe Near Music Academy – After Class

After a hectic day at the office, Alex plans to go to music class. His main goal is to meet Sia. Later, he plans to visit a cafe with Sia to unwind, as it's been a long time since he's had a chance to relax with her. Alex waits for Siya after class, and they go for coffee together. Just as they settle in, Ethan joins them unexpectedly, greeting Siya warmly and taking a seat beside her. Alex’s jealousy flares up, especially as he notices Ethan’s lingering gaze on Siya.

Ethan: (smiling, looking at Siya) “Didn’t expect to see you here with your… friend. I was just thinking we should catch a movie or something later, Siya. What do you say?”

Siya seems hesitant, glancing at Alex, who’s watching Ethan with a faint frown. Sensing the tension, Siya politely declines, though Ethan doesn’t seem deterred.

Alex: (smiling with a hint of sarcasm) “Ethan, don’t you have band practice?”

Ethan: (shrugging) “Always time for Siya.”

Siya laughs nervously, trying to ease the tension, but Alex’s jealousy is unmistakable.

Later that evening, as they part ways, Alex finds himself unable to resist his feelings.

Alex: (softly, gazing into her eyes, thinking) “I don’t think you realize what you do to me, Siya. Every time I see you with him… it’s like there’s this storm I can’t control.”

She looks at him, surprised by his look, blushing and tries to remains silent, not sure how to respond. Yet, there’s a spark in her eyes, a glimmer of something more than friendship.

Siya’s Apartment – Late Night

Siya sits alone in her cozy apartment, replaying Alex’s eyes filled with deep emotions in her mind. There’s a strange warmth that fills her, mixed with confusion. Her life had always been simple, and while she felt a growing connection with Alex, she wasn’t sure if it was love or just admiration for someone who had shown her kindness and support.

To distract herself, she calls her mother, who updates her on her father’s health. The news weighs on her heart, yet she tries to stay optimistic, sharing little details about her life in the city, carefully avoiding any mention of Alex.

Derlyn Office – Late Afternoon

Over the next few days, Alex struggles to focus on work. He’s more determined than ever to figure out who was behind the recent security threats, yet his thoughts constantly drift to Siya. Knowing that his status and family responsibilities may create challenges, he tries to give her space but finds it increasingly difficult.

That evening, while driving home, he sees Siya walking alone on the sidewalk. On impulse, he stops and changes his clothes quickly to follow her. She was surprised and happy to see him on the sidewalk, enjoying the unexpected company.

On the sidewalk, they share a comfortable silence, broken only by soft music playing on the street.

Alex: (breaking the silence, his voice soft) “Siya, I don’t know how to explain this, but… since meeting you, I feel like I’m living a life that’s real. Not just filled with parties, work, and meaningless things.”

Siya looks at him, a gentle smile on her lips, touched by his sincerity.

Siya: “I think… sometimes we meet people who remind us of who we really are. And maybe, that’s why we cross paths.”
