Siya's Apartment - Late Night
Reflecting on Ethan's confession, Siya begins to realize her feelings for Alex. She's hesitant, unsure of what he might feel for her beyond friendship. The fear of risking their bond makes her reluctant to express her emotions.
Just then, she receives a message from Alex, asking if they can meet tomorrow in the cafe. She agrees, her heart racing also she wanted talk with him about Ethan's confession.

A quiet cafe, late afternoon
Alex was already waiting for her, his eyes lighting up the moment Sia walked in. She gave him a faint smile, her mind clearly elsewhere, and Alex's brows furrowed in concern. As she settled into the chair across from him, he noticed the tension in her posture, the way her fingers fidgeted with the edges of the menu.
Alex: "What's going on, Siya?"
he asked softly, his tone laced with genuine concern.
Sia sighed, gathering her thoughts before speaking.
Siya: "It's... it's Ethan. He... well, he told me he likes me and wants to date me."
She glanced down, feeling the weight of her words hang in the air between them.
For a brief moment, Alex's face tightened. A surge of anger shot through him, and his jaw clenched almost imperceptibly. Ethan. Just the thought of him with Sia made something burn inside him. But he quickly masked his emotions, keeping his expression calm and composed. The last thing he wanted was to show his jealousy.
Instead, he leaned forward, his eyes softening as he looked at her.
Alex: "Are you alright?"
he asked, his voice steady and comforting.
Siya nodded, grateful for his calm response.
Siya: "Yeah... I just... I was surprised. I never thought of him that way, and when he said it, he seemed... different. It was uncomfortable, to be honest."
Alex's fists tightened under the table. The idea of Ethan making her feel uncomfortable made his protective instincts flare up, but he kept his tone even.
Alex: "Siya, you shouldn't feel pressured into anything. It's important you choose someone who makes you feel safe... and happy."
She looked up at him, her heart swelling with warmth. His words, his concern-it was all so genuine.
Siya: "Thank you, Alex. You've always been so supportive... and I really needed to hear that."
A soft smile spread across her lips as she met his gaze, feeling the depth of his kindness.
Alex felt his resolve wavering. He wanted to say more, to tell her what he truly felt, to make her understand that he wanted to be the one to make her feel safe. But instead, he simply gave her a reassuring smile.
Alex: "Just remember, Siya, the right person will be someone who respects you, who values you for who you are."
The way he spoke, so sincerely, made her heart flutter. She admired him even more in that moment, feeling her affection for him deepen. The pull she felt towards him, the warmth that seemed to surround them-it all felt so natural. But despite the feelings bubbling up inside her, she hesitated. Was this the right time to tell him?
The silence stretched between them, each of them lost in their own thoughts, each of them holding back a confession that hung heavily in the air.
Finally, Siya broke the silence, her voice soft.
Siya: "Thank you, Alex... really. I don't know what I'd do without you."
Alex's heart ached at her words, wishing he could tell her how much she meant to him. But for now, he swallowed his feelings, knowing he had to be the friend she needed, even if it left his own heart longing.
As they parted ways that evening, both Alex and Siya were left wondering if they'd ever find the perfect moment to reveal what their hearts were so desperately trying to say or destiny has different plans for them??!!

Alex's penthouse, late evening
Alex sat by his living room window, gazing at the city lights twinkling beneath him. His thoughts, however, were anything but calm. Ethan's confession to Siya replayed in his mind like an unwelcome refrain. His fists clenched as he thought about the discomfort Sia felt, the way Ethan had pushed his feelings on her. It wasn't just jealousy that simmered within him-it was a deep, unsettling concern.
The memory of her unsettled expression lingered, and he knew he couldn't simply let this go. Ethan was unpredictable, and Alex wasn't willing to take any risks when it came to Sia's safety. With a sigh, he reached for his phone and dialed a trusted security contact, deciding to keep a quiet, protective eye on Ethan's activities.
Alex: "I need some discreet surveillance,"
Alex said into the phone, his voice low and steely.
Alex: "On someone who might be crossing a line. No intervention unless absolutely necessary."
After the call, Alex sank back into his chair, his gaze hardening. His mind was set-he wasn't going to let Ethan cause Sia any harm or discomfort. Not now, not ever.

Meanwhile, across the city...
Ethan was pacing his apartment, a restlessness surging through him. His confession to Sia hadn't gone as he'd hoped, and her rejection had left a deep sting. Frustration bubbled beneath the surface, twisting his emotions into something darker.
He recalled the way Sia had brushed him off, her insistence that they stay friends, and it ate away at him. A sense of desperation was creeping into his thoughts, clouding his judgment. He couldn't shake the idea that maybe, just maybe, Siya didn't know what was best for her.
Ethan's mind started to wander into dangerous territory. If he could just make her understand his feelings, if he could somehow show her that he was the one who truly cared about her... then maybe she'd see things his way. His thoughts took a possessive edge, a skewed sense of love mixed with resentment.
Unaware of the watchful eye Alex had put in place, Ethan's mind started to scheme, convinced that he could win Sia over-no matter what it took.

Alex's penthouse, late night
Alex stood by the window, feeling a sense of unease settle over him. He trusted his instincts, and they were telling him to be wary. Ethan wasn't just any admirer; there was something more intense. And as much as he respected Siya's independence, Alex knew he had to step up as her protector, even if she didn't know it.
Alex's jaw tightened, his gaze steely as he whispered to himself,
Alex: "I won't let anything happen to you, Siya. Not on my watch."
