Alexander’s Penthouse – Late Night
The city outside glimmers under the moonlight. Alex is seated in his study, a glass of whiskey untouched on the table. His eyes are glued to a set of documents Mason handed over before leaving, his mind dissecting every clue. The thought of betrayal from someone within his circle gnaws at him.
Alex: (to himself) Someone close… someone I’ve trusted.
He leans back in his chair, pinching the bridge of his nose. His phone buzzes, breaking the silence. It’s a text from Siya.
Siya (Text): "Had dinner yet? Don't skip meals, Mr. Busybee!"
Alex’s lips curl into a faint smile. He types a quick reply.
Alex (Text): "Don’t worry. Your scolding keeps me in check. Sweet dreams, baby!!"
He sets the phone down, his smile fading as his mind snaps back to the investigation. He pulls up the call log records Mason provided, scrolling through the suspicious number linked to the attackers. Something catches his attention- a timestamp and location that overlap with a meeting he had at Derlyn Enterprises weeks ago.

Derlyn Enterprises – Conference Room, Weeks Ago (Flashback)
Alex is seated at the head of the table, discussing a major acquisition deal with his senior management team. Among them is Kane Sebastian, the sharp-witted head of marketing, and Lauren Parker, his loyal executive manager. Alex recalls Kane excusing himself briefly during the meeting, his phone in hand. His expressions were suspicious.

Back to Present – Alexander’s Penthouse
Alex’s eyes narrow as the memory solidifies in his mind.
Alex: (murmuring) Kane!!???
He taps his fingers on the desk, piecing things together. Kane had always been ambitious, occasionally stepping out of line to prove his worth. Could he have gone too far this time?
Before Alex can dive deeper, his phone rings. It’s Mason.
Mason: (on the call) Alex, there’s more. I ran a deeper trace on that number. It belongs to an unregistered burner phone, but the signal was last pinged outside Kane’s apartment two days ago.
Alex: (his voice low, menacing) So, it is Kane??!!!
Mason: (hesitantly) We can’t be sure yet. It’s circumstantial, but-
Alex: (cutting him off) No, it’s not. I’ve had my doubts about him for a while. Ambitious. Reckless. Now, this? I want you to keep him under surveillance. Don’t let him know we’re onto him.
Mason: (nodding through the call) Consider it done.
Alex ends the call, his fingers tightening around the glass of whiskey. His trust, carefully placed, now feels like a ticking time bomb.

Siya’s Apartment – Morning
The next morning, Siya is busy preparing breakfast, humming a tune. She seems happier, glowing with the joy Alex brings into her life. A knock at her door interrupts her. She opens it to find a delivery man holding a bouquet of red roses!
Delivery Man: For Ms. Siya Krishna.
Siya: (smiling, signing for it) Thank you.
She pulls out the card tucked within the bouquet.
Card: " Hey sweetheart!! How can you forget me this soon!, I'm coming back for you!! This time I'll destroy everyone who stands in my way, Your forever Lover."
The panic runs in her veins! Who is this guy?? Ethan??

Derlyn Enterprises – Afternoon
Alex arrives at the office, his usual confident demeanor intact, but inside, he’s simmering with controlled rage. As he walks through the glass doors, employees greet him, but his focus is elsewhere. He steps into his office and calls for Kane.
Kane: (entering, cheerful) Morning, Alex. You called?
Alex studies him, masking his suspicions behind a composed expression.
Alex: (leaning back in his chair) Morning, Kane. Just wanted to discuss your upcoming campaign proposal.
Kane begins talking enthusiastically about the campaign, oblivious to the scrutiny he’s under. Alex listens, his sharp eyes watching for any signs of deceit. As Kane leaves, Alex’s jaw tightens.
Alex: (to himself) You’re hiding something. And I’ll find out what.

Unknown Warehouse – Night
Meanwhile, in a dimly lit warehouse, a figure sits in the shadows, speaking on the phone.
Unknown Voice: (coldly) He’s getting close. We need to move fast.
The caller disconnects, leaving an ominous silence in the air.
