Alex's Penthouse, Late Night
Alexander stands on the balcony of his penthouse, looking out over the city skyline, lost in thought. These days everything changed for Alex, now he is no more interested in partying with girls. His interest is completely on Sia!
The cool night breeze ruffles his hair as he takes a long sip of whiskey, his mind still filled with Siya. He’s tried to push her out of his thoughts, but no matter what he does, she’s always there—her laugh, her shy smile, the way her eyes light up when she talks about music.
He can’t deny it any longer. This isn’t just a passing infatuation. Siya’s innocence, her kindness, have left a mark on him that no other woman ever has.
Alexander: (thinking) What’s happening to me? She’s just a girl… just another beautiful woman I’ll move on from. So why does she feel different?
As he stands there, his phone buzzes with a message from one of his casual girlfriends, inviting him to a private party. For a moment, he considers going, losing himself in the temporary thrill of luxury and beautiful women, but something holds him back.
He sighs, feeling an unfamiliar ache in his chest. Siya is becoming more than just a curiosity—she’s a mystery he wants to solve, a person he wants to understand.

Alexander arrives at the music institute early, hoping to catch Siya before her class. He finds her setting up her violin, her face peaceful, focused.
Alexander: (smiling) "Good morning, Siya."
She looks up, surprised but pleased to see him, and offers him a warm smile.
Siya: "Good morning, Alex! You’re early today."
Alexander: "Couldn’t wait to start learning. You’re a tough teacher, you know."
She laughs softly, shaking her head.
Siya: "I’m just trying to make sure you learn something."
They begin the lesson, but Alexander can barely focus. He’s mesmerized by her expressions, the way she loses herself in the music, her gentle yet firm teaching style. She’s everything he isn’t, and for the first time, he feels a longing for something deeper, something real.

Institute Practice Room
During the break, Alexander and Siya sit together, sharing a casual conversation. He finds himself wanting to know more about her, her dreams, her life.
Alexander: "Siya, have you always wanted to be a musician?"
Siya’s face softens, a hint of sadness flickering in her eyes.
Siya: "Yes… ever since I was a child. My father is a music teacher back in India. He’s the reason I love music so much."
Alexander notices the shift in her tone, sensing there’s more to her story.
Alexander: "Is he… proud of you?"
Siya nods, though there’s a touch of pain in her smile.
Siya: "He is, but… he’s not well. He had a stroke a year ago, and it’s been hard on my family. I came here hoping to earn enough to help with his treatment."
Alexander feels an unexpected surge of empathy. Her strength, her dedication to her family—it’s unlike anything he’s seen in the women around him, and it draws him closer to her.
Alexander: (softly) "That’s… really admirable, Siya. Not everyone would make that kind of sacrifice."
Siya looks away, embarrassed by his praise.
Siya: "It’s not a sacrifice. It’s just… love."
Her words hit him like a punch, and he feels a pang of guilt, knowing his life is nothing like hers. He realizes he’s never experienced that kind of selfless love, that he’s been chasing temporary thrills and shallow relationships all his life.

Alex’s Private Party
That night, Alexander reluctantly attends a private party, hoping to distract himself from Siya’s lingering presence in his mind. The glamorous setting, the attention from beautiful women—all of it feels hollow now, empty.
His friend Noah notices his mood and pulls him aside.
Noah: "Alright, man, what’s going on with you? You’ve been distracted for days.(Guessing ) Is it a girl?"
Alexander hesitates, unsure of how to explain the pull Siya has over him.
Alexander: (trying to avoid eye contact) "Nothing like that, Noah…I'm not thinking about any girl."
Noah: (teasingly) "Whoa, Alex, be real man, i suspect it's some girl, is she here? (Looks around) don’t tell me you’re actually catching feelings?"
Alexander laughs it off, but Noah’s words hit closer to the truth than he’d like to admit. For the first time, he feels something strange, it's Sia, is she making Alex catch true feelings for her??!!

The Next Day, Music Institute
Alexander arrives at the institute, more determined than ever to figure out what he really wants from Siya. He watches her as she teaches, her patience, her warmth. He feels an intense urge to protect her, even from himself.
Alexander: (thinking) Is this love? Or is it just lust, an obsession I need to satisfy?
He’s never felt this way before, and it scares him. But as he watches Siya laugh with her students, he feels his resolve weaken, his heart pulling him toward her.

Family Boardroom at Derlyn Enterprises
Later that day, Alexander receives a call from his father, Charles Van Derlyn, summoning him to a board meeting at the family’s corporate headquarters. The meeting room is cold, imposing, filled with powerful men who view him as the inevitable heir.
Charles regards him with a calculating look, his voice icy.
Charles: "Alexander, the board needs assurance that the next CEO will protect our family’s legacy. Are you up for the challenge?"
Alexander nods, knowing the weight of his family’s expectations. He feels torn between the life he’s known—the ruthless pursuit of power—and the warmth he’s found with Siya.
As the meeting concludes, he feels the weight of his family’s world pressing down on him, the darkness of their secrets.
Charles: (warning) "Remember, son, emotions are a weakness. We can’t afford any distractions."
Alexander’s thoughts immediately drift to Siya, and he realizes he’s at a dangerous crossroads. Choosing Siya means risking everything he’s built. But the thought of letting her go feels unbearable.

Back at the Music Institute
Determined to get closer to Siya, Alexander decides to ask her out, needing to understand if his feelings are real or just a fleeting attraction.
He finds her in the practice room, tuning her violin.
Alexander: (casual) "Siya, would you… like to have coffee with me sometime? Outside of these walls?"
Siya looks up, surprised but intrigued. She smiles, nodding shyly.
Siya: "Sure, Alex. That would be nice."
Alexander feels a rush of excitement he hasn’t felt in years, his heart pounding as he realizes he’s taking a step closer to unraveling the mystery of his feelings.
