"You got everything right?" Levi asked you as he places the duffle bags and luggages inside the trunk of the (f/car).

"For the millionth time, yes!" You said with much exaggeration as you groaned playfully.

He rolled his eyes at your antics.

"Tch, just get in the car. " he mumbles to you as he hopped into the driver seat.

"Road trip! Yeasssss!" You squirmed with excitement in your passenger seat, your flinging arms almost slapping Levi in the process.

"Calm the fuck down. " he grumbled, then started the ignition.

Adorable little brat.

1 2 : 4 5 P. M.

"Food! Drive through! (F/fast food joint)!" You exclaimed with sparkles in your eyes as your stomach grumbled. The price to pay for not eating breakfast before beginning this journey.

Normally, you would've been embarrassed but you were too hyped up and too happy to see your favourite food joint to care.

Levi sighed loudly with a shake of his head as he heads for the drive through lane for his overly excited other half.

0 1 : 2 9 P. M.

He stopped at the road side to search for the mints he bought earlier that day. He would've asked you to help search for it but you had fallen asleep like the kid who ate too much.

"Idiot. " Levi cracked a crooked little smile as he takes in your fetal-like positioned body all wrapped up in a (f/c) blanket. Your hair sprawling all over the place with a small smile gracing your slightly dry lips.

It was a sight Levi had seen a thousand times and it will never be a sight that wouldn't make his heart melt.

0 2 : 5 1 P. M.

You woke up feeling all groggy, but all the post-sleepiness was gone the moment you saw Levi driving while absentmindedly nodded along to ACDC's War Machine.

It was the perfect thing to wake up to.

His hair was swaying along with the rhythmic movement of his soft head-banging, he was relaxed and focused at the same time, and if you strained your ears a little bit more, you could hear Levi's (once in a blue moon) humming.

It was a good way to wake up indeed.

0 3 : 1 7 P. M.

"Levi-"

"No. "

"Are-"

"Not-"

"Yet?!"

"There yet. "

0 3 : 3 5 P. M.

"Well, you can tell by the way I use my walk! I'm a woman's man!" You sang loudly along with the radio that was blasting Stayin' Alive by Bee Gees.

Normally, if you were someone like Eren or Hanji who was shouting out the lyrics like a semi-dead wailing seal , he would've thrown them out through the window the moment they decided it was a good idea to torture his eardrums like this...but since you were (Name), his beloved lover that he loved very much so dearly, he wouldn't dare tell you to shut up.

"Ah! Ah! Ah! Ah! STAYIN' ALIVE~ STAYIN' ALIVE!"

He wanted to.

Dear god, he really wanted to shove a rag in your mouth to shut your loud, tone deaf trap.

"STAYIN' ALIIIIIIIIIIIIIVE~!"

But he decided against that seeing how big of that smile you were wearing.

0 4 : 2 9 P. M.

By now, the screaming marathon had finished and you were just in the car, with Levi, enjoying the silence.

"Levi?" You called to him but your eyes were too busy staring into blankness.

"I told you, we're not there yet-" he grumbled and sigh but was cut off by you suddenly blurting out, "I love you. "

Normally, he would reply back with a small blush but seeing how this was so sudden, it had caught him by surprise.

"More than food. " you continued on for the first time.

He was in moderate shock and the only indication that he was is his slightly opened mouth ; but he could still somewhat drive.

"And even more than (f/anime character). " you ended with that and looked into his eyes to show him you were dead serious.

The car swerved a tad bit and Levi had to abruptly stop at the road side so he wouldn't get the both of you into an accident. Now, Levi looked completely stupid and cute. His lips formed a weird little 'o' and his eyes actually widened. His brows were arched and not to mention, his cheeks were even brighter than a cherry's.

"I..." He tried to form his words but everything was just jumbled up! He really, really wasn't mentally prepared for this declaration of love and his chest felt as if it could implode anytime now.

"Was it too soon? Oh god, it was, wasn't it? I knew I shouldn't have said it! But I just felt like this was a good moment to say it and-" you were about to have a panic attack and babble on further if not for Levi's soft lips silencing yours.

"Shut up and kiss me. " he hushed and before you knew it, your awaiting lips were on his again.

0 5 : 2 6 P. M.

"What took you guys so long?" Your mother asked as she helped you unload your bags from the car into their house.

"We had a little...detour. " Levi said with a smirk that caused you to playfully slapped him on the arm.

(Mother's name) raised an eyebrow but just left it at that.

"We have (f/food) for tonight so hurry with the bags and settle soon!" She called from the door and went in.

"Yeasssssssss! C'mon Levi! Hurry!"

"I love you more than making people look stupid and fucking you senseless. " Levi suddenly whispered into your ear and you couldn't help but drop the bags and gasp with a ferocious blush.

"C'mon (name)! Hurry!" He said mockingly with a chuckle at the end.

"That's foul play!" You shouted at him with a huge smile and headed into the house, following behind your soon-to-be fiancé.

But of course, you didn't know that...yet.
