You were so bloody late, yet again.

That was why you were rushing to class in a frenzy, yet again.

What was different about this time was that the floor had been polished the night before this damned Monday where you prioritised that great make-out dream with Levi over waking up and facing hell. You had no regrets though because dream-Levi had mad tongue skills.

Anyway, with just a few more steps, you could see the next 5 minutes of your future. Enter the class in an untimely and messy manner, have the teacher scold you for your tardiness while the class snickers at you, huff out a half-assed apology, and then drag yourself to your seat where your hot seat mate, Levi, would sigh at you with disappointment once more. A routine you know too fucking well.

Which is when fate, or whatever it is that governs the universe's spectacular timing to have you embarrass yourself, thought that it was the perfect time to have you slip on the floor right when your very attractive acquaintance-slash-maybe-friend-slash-seat-mate come out of the classroom you were suppose to be in 15 long minutes ago.

"Shit!" Said profanity was spat out of your lips as you experienced your ever graceful fall in slow-motion like in those romcoms, which in case, caught the attention of said attractive friend. Except like in romcoms, no gorgeous hottie was going to catch you and fall in love with you at first sight as they gaze into your tired eyes because right as you braced yourself for the fall, you had somewhat landed on your side on the floor like a potato someone threw.

With a surprised expression, you cracked a lopsided smile, completely proud of yourself that no part of your body was hurt and that you didn't land face first onto the floor in front of Levi's feet.

"What the hell...?" Levi whispered to himself with slightly wide eyes after he witnessed the entire thing.

Looking up at Levi from your position, you had a couple options to play out, but before you could choose, your body had already acted on its own.

"Hey, it looks like I fell for you. " You suggested with a smirk while wiggling your eyebrows, the emotion of shame and pride being shoved deep down in your gut that is to be revisited after this failure of an attempt to make the best out of your predicament.

You stared at him with that shit expression still on your face, waiting for some sort of reaction out of him other than staring at you oh so blankly.

"Idiot. " he said after what seemed like the longest time ever. Usually, your face would already be burning brighter than the sun with shame and self-disappointment, but since you caught the blush on his cheeks as he sped walked out of there, your face was now set ablaze with the fury of doki-doki.

"(Name), please get off the floor and get into class already. " The teacher said with a deep sigh without even bothering to look at you while the rest of the class laughed their ass off. Although, you couldn't really care less as a dopey, flowery aura surrounded your goofy-self for making your crush blush.
