Pacific Ocean
--- --- ---Atel started to walked towards me. Slowly. The pain in me was replaced by adrenaline. He wanted me dead. I was the target. I...
"Nah, I'd win." The words left my mouth before I knew what was happening. Atel looked...confused. Good. It's how I needed him. I stood calmly, twirling the katana in hand. Blue flames started to flow off it as I started walked towards him. Atel was going to fear me now. Everyone was going to fear me. My time...is now.
--- --- ---
Music - Devil Trigger - GO!! Light Up!
--- --- ---"What th-" Atel narrowly dodged my first slash. It grazed his shoulder armor with a sharp ting! That sound was music to my ears when the second slash came. His shoulder plate waa burned straight off him, exposing his shirt beneath. He looked bewildered. For the first time, Atel Eireisone felt afraid.
The big boy scrambled back. He touched where the armor plate had been. His hand was shaking. Atel looked back at me with rage. "That's it. Come on. Let's do this the right way." Eireisone let out a blood curdling war cry before rushing at me. His blade connected to my arm, drawing blood. Though that's all it did. I spun out to the side as it hit. My arm was fine. His was about to not be.
My blade connected to his arm's plating, but not fast enough. Eireisone hit me square in the cheek. I fell over and rolled a few feet. The punch was good. My cheek felt raw.
It only made me want more blood to be spilled. Atel went to slam his sword down, but missed. I was faster. Smaller too. The man stood about 7 feet tall at minimum. Didn't work in his favor though. Plenty of surface area to abuse.
For the moment, I dropped my blade to the water. I'd handle this a bit differently now: death by a thousand hits. Every hit Atel took caused his armor to shake and bend to my will. He himself was hurting so much he dropped his blade. Though he wasn't defenseless. Atel grabbed me by the arms and kicked my gut repeatedly. His boots hurt like hell. He did that 4 times over, then I kicked his leg out from under him and removed myself from his grip by twisting his arms so hard his hands couldn't hang on.
After that I kicked him again. Not to get him away from me, but to get myself out of his strike range. Good timing too. His arms came down right where I would've been. Water splashed up and concealed him for a moment. He didn't like to hide it seemed since he came running out with bare fists.
First swing miss, second swing connected to my hip. That hurt like hell. But it was nothing compared to the one two I put into his helmet. The helmet's face mask bent inwards so bad he roared in pain. "Initially sounding human, now transforms into some sort of beast? Huh. That's cool."
I pressed the attack further by kicking his chest. Atel fell backwards but rebounded quickly, throwing a punch straight into my face. That connected with a resounding crunch. My nose broke upon contact. It didn't bother me though. Just a surface wound.
Atel threw a haymaker and...missed. Hard. Maybe the hits to the mask had gotten his eyesight messed up because he missed even worse than I thought someone could. Though it may have been a faint. When I went to go in, he kicked my knee out, then spun around and hit me with a full force kick to the jaw.
My body flew a good 30 feet before coming to a rest face down. Jaw was broken. Maybe. It felt that way. Or lack there of a feeling. Atel was good. Very good. No wonder he was considered the "God of the Sirens." Though for me, he was just another competitor.
I got myself up and stretched. Atel had his greatsword again. His mask had been forcefully reformed. Those blood red eyes of his were showing rage. Guess I managed to piss him off really good.
