She said she wanted to talk....yet here I am, standing in front of the entire higher council. Should've expected this. My survival was on a tightrope. Now that it had snapped, I was expendable.

Name's Enforcer XIII: Fear. I was designed entirely to drive fear into my enemy from below the waters. Hence why I was built as a battlesubmarine. To be honest, too much was expected of me.

"So you admit to letting her go without any attempt at recovering her?"

"Yes, Arbiter Judgement."

"You're a fool. Not only a fool, you're a failure."

"I say we hang her."

Course Fortune said that

"No need sister. I have already decided a punishment."

Judgement looked down at me with her cold, gold and blue eyes. The colors were split dead center across the iris in a horizontal form. It was considered an honor by many to be under her gaze. To others, it was like Death's gaze. She had the power to say whether or not you would live.

"Your punishment is to watch over the new captive. Everything you do will be evaluated, considered, and then judged. You cannot leave base without the company of another enforcer or executor. Any refusal or ignorance of this will be an immediate execution. Understood?"

"Yes, Arbiter Judgement."

"Good, then our business is concluded."

I bowed, then left the room with the guards. My hands were tied behind my back still. It felt...demoralizing. My freedom was gone when they gave the first two to me, now I had lost all of it. One mistake was all they needed to take me out and replace me...

Great, now I'm in an even worse spot. It can't get any worse, right?

As we exited the building, the guards removed my cuffs and swiftly left. I still had my authority and they weren't going to stick around to see what happened. I sighed, starting to walk towards the training building. Last time they put the kansen in there. Now to see if they did it again.

I entered silently, looking around for the moment. The walls were pristine, the floor as well. Everything was in place. It was orderly, unlike how it once was. The kansen was in the center of the room, her long blonde hair immediately recognizable in the crowd of white. There seemed to be a fight going on between her and someone else as a circle of people had surrounded them mostly. From my spot, it looked like she was putting the hurt on an executor.

I pressed through the crowd, finding that she was smashing an executor's face in, hard. The poor gal had no option but to hopelessly try to cover her face as the punches started to break her defenses down. It was a pain to watch, so I grabbed the kansen by the collar and tossed them across the arena. She tumbled for a couple feet before hopping up, looking a bit worse for wear.

She locked eyes on me with a questioning look. A bit of annoyance, then rage was in her eyes. Seemed she recognised me.

"You..."

"You've cost me a lot Lucy. How's a little payback sound?"

"I'll rip your spine out and use it as the pole to hang you from."

"Bold words from a destroyer."

"Won't matter when I back em up."

I laughed. She had a fiery spirit. Too bad she'd break like the rest. Violent or not, she had no hope. There was no escape from here. There was no escape from me.
