Chapter 1: Love Letter

Felix Pov

"Come on lix, you can do it" han whispered like a prayer"

Dude, I'm literally shaking right now. Can you please stop pushing me. We are at our School gate right now waiting for someone named "Hwang Hyunjin". I decided to confess through letter, and I'm hoping he will accept it.

"There he is" seungmin shouted

My heartbeat doubled when I saw the one and only Hwang Hyunjin walking like a versace model towards my direction. As he approached, he suddenly stopped in front of me because I was blocking the way,  I was about to speak when he interrupted me.

"Move" he spoked

h-huh, ahm I was even more stunned, as if I swallowed my tongue when I heard his voice. I exhaled sharply and quickly handed him the letter I made while I averted my eyes from his.

I almost lost my breath when he took the letter from my hand and I was about to speak to thanked him when he suddenly threw it in the air.

I was too stunned to speak.

"Poor, felix" I heard from someone.

"Hyunjin is a friend of felix's brother, right?"

"He would have just accepted it"

"If I were in that situation, I might not show up at school anymore" someone commented.

My eyes watered and I can't move my legs to run away. I just realized that we're surrounded by students. For fuck sake I really forgot that we're in front of our School gate! I just want to sink to the ground, this is  embarrassing. I should have just put the letter in his locker! I quickly bowed my head when I heard the whispers around me. I should have listened to I.N. when he advised me to give the letter to Hyunjin privately to ensure that, in case I got rejected, no one else would know. And here I am, trying to hold back my tears.

"Yah, you arrogant bastard!" Han shouted at Hyunjin, who just continued walking. My eyes widened when Han suddenly picked up a small stone. Everything around me seemed to go in slow motion as the stone hit Hyunjin right at the back of his head. Everyone around gasped.

"What the fuck" hyunjin cursed under his breathe.

"Oh my god, Ji, you shouldn't have done that," I said.

"He's such a jerk! He doesn't know how to appreciate. You put so much effort into that letter!" Han exclaimed.

Han was about to say more when a professor suddenly shouted for us to return to our respective classrooms. I quickly grabbed Han and Seungmin so we could run.

"You idiot, why did you do that?" I asked, panting.

"We're definitely on Hyunjin's death list now. Congrats to us, guys! What a great achievement," Seungmin said sarcastically.

"Oh, come on, I'm sorry! I couldn't help myself," Han replied.

"Okay, guys, for now, it's almost time to start our first period. We can't be late on our first day of class as second-years!"

As we made our way down the hallway to our classroom, Seungmin suddenly spoke up.

"I almost forgot, guys, we're no longer a blocked section," Seungmin said.

"Really? Since when did the university decide to change that?" Han replied

Seungmin just shrugged when Han asked him. It's probably for the best, so we can meet different students in each subject. As we approached the door of the classroom, I was surprised because it was quite noisy inside, filled with whispers. Seungmin and Han were in front of me, while I followed behind, my head down as I rummaged through my bag. I was about to speak when Seungmin and Han suddenly stopped in front of the door.

"Guys, have you seen my blue keychain? I can't find it in my bag—" I was about to finish what I wanted to say when Seungmin spoke up.

"Guys, we are so fucked" Seungmin said.

"Yes, we are," Han replied.

H-huh? What do you mean? I quickly stood on my tiptoes to peek into our classroom because I couldn't understand what they were saying. My eyes widened when I saw my brother's circle of friends sitting in the first row.

"Hello, lix-ah," Chan greeted me cheerfully.

Changbin just nodded at me, and there he is—I locked eyes with the one person I had prayed I wouldn't run into.

"Hyunjin," I whispered like it was a prayer.

And not only was he there, but sitting next to him was Lee Know hyung?!? Who just smirk at me. I felt like I wanted to evaporate. This year was not going to be peaceful for me at all.

Fast Forward

We were almost in dazed when we entered the canteen for lunch break because we still couldn't believe that they would be our classmates in four subjects. I have a bad feeling about what's going to happen, Jesus Christ! come on guys. Do you really think a Hwang Hyunjin would let slide from what happened outside earlier.

"Hey guys, what's up?" I.N waved to us excitedly.

All of us turned to him, and his smile instantly faded upon seeing our expressions.

"Are you guys okay?" he asked with a hesitant smile.

"No," we all replied simultaneously.

"Why?" I.N asked.

We almost choked him when we saw his reaction. After telling him everything that happened earlier, he burst into laughter and even started slapping the table?!? Ugh, this guy is getting on our nerves. Suddenly, he jokingly wiped his tears of laughter.

"Lix, it seems you've forgotten the personality of Hwang Hyunjin." I.N said seriously.

I suddenly looked down at what he said.

I know, I should have listened to you; I shouldn't have rushed my decision earlier. I saw Han bow his head and say, "This is all my fault. I shouldn't have forced you to give him the letter you made for him personally. We didn't think about the consequences of that hasty decision."

"Yah" I shouted at Han.

"It's not your fault; I still made that decision."

"B-but—"

Han was about to speak more when I suddenly interrupted him.

"Let's not think about that for now; whatever happens, happens. Come on, let's eat. I'm starving."

We were on our way to our last subject right now. When I heard someone calling me.

"Baby bro"

Lee Know hyung? I cursed under my breath when I realized we'd have to pass by their room.

"What?" I asked, sounding bored.

"Don't what what me. Meet me in the parking lot later at exactly 5 o'clock. Don't be late if you don't want to be left behind."

"Whatever," I replied.

Just then, Felix attention was caught by a man glaring at him with a raven hair, and oh- a piercing in his eyebrows staring the soul outta him sight across the room. What the fuck, he had a piercing? It wasn't there earlier!
