Chapter 7: Vacation

Felix Pov

I keep biting my nails off thinking about why I agreed to my older brother's plan to go on a three-day vacation at our private beach in Busan. What worried me more was that my brother's friends would be joining us: Chan, Changbin hyung, and Hyunjin. Thankfully, I'm prepared for disasters I called a backup just in case I end up doing something stupid again. I invited Seungmin, Han, and I.N to come with me.

As we were getting closer to the beach resort, I could already smell the cool salty air. I exhaled and closed my eyes to feel the breeze on my face. When we arrived at the resort, the caretakers immediately took care of us and led us to our cabins. Han was my roommate, while Seungmin and I.N shared a cabin. I heard laughter from downstairs, and I was pretty sure it was Lee Know hyung and the others. They were in a convoy earlier, but we got here first because they stopped somewhere on the way.

Fast forward

After dinner, we decided to rest so we could make the most of our three-day vacation.

Tomorrow is our first full day, and I'm hoping to enjoy it. I was still lost in thought when I decided to head down to the pool area since I couldn't sleep. I was planning just to sit on the sun loungers, but I changed my mind and decided to take a dip instead. I quickly took off my t-shirt, leaving only my black board shorts, and dove straight into the pool. I swam back and forth, and just as I was coming up for air, I heard someone speak.

"You're really good at this, huh" someone said.

I recognized the voice immediately, but I still wanted to be sure, so I quickly looked at him, locking eyes. He walked toward the sun lounger and sat down, right next to the towel I had left on a small table. I wasn't sure whether to get out of the pool or stay in.

I was intimidated by him, okay?! And I'm half-naked right now. For fuck sake, so I felt embarrassed showing my body in front of him.

It was kind of frustrating because it always me who seemed like the nervous one when we were near each other. I took a deep breath before deciding to get out of the pool.

"I felt his gaze slowly trace over my body, making my skin tingle."

"Pass me the towel," I said.

I thought he wouldn't listen, but I was surprised when he immediately handed it to me.

Silence hung between us, broken only by the soft rustle of the wind and the distant chirp of crickets.

"Are you drunk right now?" I joked.

I heard him snicker.

"I'm not," he replied.

He suddenly looked me straight in the eyes and asked, "Do you really think I was drunk yesterday?" His tone was serious.
That's when I remembered what happened in the kitchen yesterday. I blushed at the sudden memories.

My breath hitched from how intense he sounded.

I chuckled nervously. "Of course, you're drunk. Why else would you—" I was cut off when he spoke again.

"I'm not drunk."

I was left speechless.

"H-huh, then w-why did you do that yesterday" I asked.

I couldn't help but follow him with my eyes as he suddenly stood up and walked toward the cabin. I looked down, I he's not gonna answer my question, but I was shocked when he spoke again.

"I find you cute and...

interesting," he said before entering the cabin.
