The Wedding

The day had finally arrived, the wedding, everything was coming to fruition for the two of them. The location where it was taking place was somewhat unconventional, but Scott Pilgrim wanted something different, he's the kind of person who finds the idea of a church cliche, overdone, and maybe even a bit boresome. Ramona has the best gown she could possess, and Scott is wearing the finest suit he could find.

The fact that it's on the rooftop of Sneaky Dees is unique given how the place usually doesn't hold weddings, however, this is a unique exception. As the two of them ponder what to do, some guests arrive.

Six of the evil exes show up, followed by Kim, Wallace, Stephen, Young Neil, Envy Adams, Lisa Miller, Hollie Hawkes, Stacey, and to Scott's surprise his brother Lawrence who he rarely hears from let alone speaks to. Scott's parents also show up. A few obvious people are missing, for a plethora of reasons.

Scott holds Ramona's hand while gazing into her eyes. He's never been this serious about anything before in his life. He's usually known as a slacker, a lazy bastard, impulsive, dumb, and self-destructive. But he's putting everything on the line for this wedding, and now it's finally here, it's within his grasp, and he's looking at the woman who'll be his wife.

All his life, Scott's been searching for that special someone, and it seems evident that he has found that person given how much Scott and Ramona bond together. It seemed like the stars were aligning, some might call it destiny, others might prefer the term fate but it just seems right. To make matters more interesting Lisa herself is going to officiate the wedding and take the place of the usual preacher you see in certain weddings.

Ramona seemed curious. "So, how do I look Scott?" Ramona asked him. "Gorgeous, stunning, breathtaking even." Ramona blushed. "You sure know how to make a woman feel special Scott." Scott smiled. "Yeah, I guess, I do."

Ramona leaned and kissed him, Scott returned the kiss, it lasted for a solid forty seconds but it was satisfying. The chemistry they possess is something rare, the kind of magic, that people want to have with someone, but very few people do. It won't be a perfect, flawless, Disney movie relationship, and Scott doesn't expect it to be.

There might be disagreements, hell some nights he might have to sleep on the couch, but he doesn't care as long as she's with him. There's this feeling in the air, that neither of them can deny. Ramona never expected her to be married to someone, but she's glad that it's with someone like Scott.

Someone who isn't a complete jackass, granted, Scott's impulsive, and dumb, but he's not heartless. "Ramona, I need to tell you something." Ramona's curiosity was piqued. "Yeah, Scott?" She asked him. "I love you."

Ramona playfully rolled her eyes at him. "I love you too, you geek." Scott's brother Lawrence, walked up to the two of them. "Hey, lovebirds, hate to make things awkward, can I talk to Scott alone for a minute?" Ramona nodded. "Uh, sure." Scott walked to a quieter side of the roof with Lawrence.

The two barely speak up, Lawrence is the forgotten sibling of the Pilgrim munch, Stacey's known as a barista, Scott's known for making reckless mistakes, and Lawnrece most people forget even exists. He's not horrible, he's just not very memorable.
