"Lucy, can you get a glass of water for me?" Tim yelled from his couch. It had only been a week since Tim fractured his foot. Lucy hadn't let him move more then he had to. Even if Tim insisted, he could do it himself. Eventually he had to give up. Tim was stubborn, but so could Lucy also be.
"One second!" Lucy shouted from the kitchen. As time had gone on and days turned into weeks. Tim had barely risen from his bed. The day after Tim and Lucy had gotten home from the hospital, Lucy had made sure he was moved into his bed and was comfortable.
"Here you go." Lucy added as she came from the kitchen giving him his glass of water. As Lucy sat the water down on Tim's bedside table, she then moved to sit next to him.
"You should go home; you've been her all day." Tim told her. "I'll go home when I have to." She replied coldly, brushing it off like she hadn't been there for at least 14 hours. "Then should we watch a movie at least?" Tim questioned her. "Sure." She answered.
"Are you exited for your doctor's appointment tomorrow?" Lucy asked Tim more interested "Is that even a question?" Tim side eyed her. "Of course, I am. Can't wait to hit the streets again." He added to his response. "How can you be so sure they will let you?" Lucy questioned while scrolling through channels looking for a movie to watch. Tim gave her a "are you serious?" look. Which made her shut her mouth and turn her attention to the TV.
The duo watched a few varieties of movies through the night. While they didn't know what tomorrow would bring, Tim hoped he would be back to work in no time.
