On the way from the mansion to the bottom of the hill, I noticed some hidden CCTV cameras on the front trees of the forest on either side.
I didn't enjoy those fleeting moments of freedom because it felt bitter and empty without him - without his flirting, without his warmth, without his kisses and without.....he, himself.
I looked at my right side to find Nishant resting. We were still inside the car.
I looked at the small pocket infront of him attached to the driver's backside of the seat. His phone was there. And I won't take time to figure out his password, if possible.
Carefulness is the most important thing to keep in my mind for now, given he's a mafia too and his instincts are very strong.
I slowly moved my hand, holding onto my breath out of sudden nervousness, before I rested the tip of my fingers on the cold edge of the phone. I kept my gaze steady in his face, his face was serene as he breathed calmly. Pulling it out quickly, I tried to unlock it.
I felt my heart hammering inside my chest, as cold fear rushed through my veins. My blood was freezing in my veins, and I felt my hands shaking slightly.
I wasn't terrified of him but his deeds. If he can cross his limits to rape a mere teenager like that, then he can force himself on me right here once again. And no one would even say anything because everyone was so fucking loyal to him.
My shaky finger slid up the screen before the lockscreen appeared.
It needed a pin.
I typed his birth year which he had told once. Wrong.
I typed my birth year. Wrong.
I typed my name. Wrong. His name. Wrong.
This is the last attempt to unlock the phone. If I fail, it'd get temporarily locked for thirty seconds and if I succeed, I'll be able to work on my plan. My breaths were getting uneven, as I felt my stomach twisting.
Something clicked my mind and I quickly typed a particular date, month number and year.
And guess what? It got unlocked.
My heart pricked at the scene, disgust ran through my veins. He had stooped too low already and now seeing the passport date made me want to choke and kill him right here and now.
I wish.
I was about to tap on the message app when a hand grabbed my wrist.
I shot my head towards his side, shocked to see him all awake. His dark gaze stayed on my face, scanning to find something which might feed his suspicion. His rough grip was already hurting my skin, but what affected me was his gaze. It was cold and blank.
My heart started thumping loudly against my chest, predicting the consequences I might need it face if I don't come up with any excuse.
"What are you doing with my phone, bird?", he asked calmly.
