Chapter 71 :
12 June, Saturday, 2032
1:20 p.m."Is it ready Ryle?", I asked her, who was sitting on the couch placed infront of my desk in my study room.
She looked up from the tab in her hands and nodded at me, "Yes they are. I've sent a copy to Mr. Quinn and have kept one copy with us. But are you even ready for the show? Woman, you haven't even went for shopping", she spoke, again getting back to her unprofessional elder sister behaviour. She's actually like my elder sister because she's older than me by two years.
She got married after leaving Paris with me that day and now she's a mother of a six year old girl. She and her husband named her Kavya, a proof of the love poetry that exists between her and her husband which gave birth to their daughter.
I didn't want her to work for me because her family needed her but the loyalty she had for me was something she can never give up on, was what she had said.
I smiled at her, "I'll go today. Let's take Yashasvi and Kavya too."
A smile formed on her lips at the mention of our daughters. She nodded.
Later on we both took our leave from the office since it was a half day and our office hours ended at 2o'clock.
We picked up our daughters on our way and directly went for shopping.
The very first store we went to was Chanel. It was my favourite because of its vintage and old money style outfits. I loved them. So I chose a co-ord set consisting of a bodycon under a half coat, both in beige. Then we went to severel other luxury stores to shop for us and our daughters before I finally ended my shopping spree by buying two sarees, one red and one beige. They had gand embroidered designs with such delicate patterns that I happened to get attracted towards them, so I bought them.
Ryle shopped for her husband too, which somehow reminded me of Arnav. It's been over seven years but still our memories lay fresh at the back of my mind. With each passing day, I happen to reminisce all of them. There'd be atleast a single thing everyday that'd remind me of him.
That's something bittersweet. I can never forget the person I love the most today too, despite being unknown to the fact about his existence today. I didn't know if he was alive or not. But still I love him.
I smiled at Ryle smiling at her phone, asking her husband which perfume he wanted.
I looked away when my gaze fell on Yashasvi. She was going through the kid's toys but she seemed absent minded. I looked beside her to find a father getting his daughter some dolls. Handing over the bags to the assistant of the store manager who was standing nearby, I walked over to my daughter.
