Shadow Riders Omniversal Journey

Chapter 6

It's time to check on the other Shadow Riders, at least two of these Shadow Riders are still teenagers, so they're going to think the Shadow Army is cool more than anything.

These Shadow Riders might end up becoming part of this somehow I haven't decided if main line Cain will help them unlock their Shadow powers or if they'll unlock it themselves currently I am thinking they might, or he'll at least give them various hints across the story of how to become demon kings and shadow monarchs.

The Spectacular Marvel Universe

Cain Blaze just watched his 616 counterpart and three mutant sorceresses get sucked into portal before the screen shut off, Cain leaned back thinking about what he just saw, the anger, the rage, the army of shadows, was that his destiny, to fail the people he cared about, to fight the forces of the underworld while his friends suffered, "I don't even have an army of shadows to call upon, no idea how my counterpart got them," Cain thought.

"Cain, stop thinking about what your thinking about," said Petra.

"You mean stop thinking about an awesome army of shadows to do my biding?" asked Cain.

"Well, if your not thinking that your a failure that's fine," said Petra.

Cain just looked away from his girlfriend and her family, "Cain, we aren't your responsibility, if anything Mays safety is up to me, and Petra," said Peter.

"Cain, it's nice you want to use your powers to help us, but the young woman in red was right, you can't solve everybody's problems, someday I'll pass on, when that comes, I want you three to live your lives, not make sacrifices for mine, I'm old, it's the way humans work," said May.

"Promise me Cain, Peter, Petra, promise me you three will let me pass," said May, Cain just looked at the three parkers, and he just gave a solemn nod.

Cain get's up and goes to the window opening the curtain and seeing a flash, "how the hell do they find me," Cain groaned.

"I think they're here for me and Peter, since some of those flashbacks did show me and Peter," said Petra.

"Huh, I'll lead the vultures away, and get any demons attention," said Cain as he headed for the door.

As Cain opened the door he found Gwen, Liz, and MJ, he quickly pulled the three in, "Peter's in the Kitchen," said Cain.

"Cain, are you ok?" Gwen asked.

Gwen was like a sister to Cain, not weird he like his older counterpart latched onto any familial care anyone gave, "I'm fine Gwen just I need something to burn," said Cain.

"Yeah it's when you go pyro that we all get a little concerned," said Petra.

"Don't put me and Pyro on the same level," said Cain.

"Wait you know a guy named Pyro?" asked Liz.

"Yeah, he was part of Magnetos gang of mutants had to deal with them a lot in my second year with the X-Men," said Cain.

"Ass hole had the power of fire manipulation, not generation, but any fire I made he just turned on me, luckily I'm not a one trick pony," said Cain.

"Alright, so I'm expecting it, bring it on," said Cain.

"Your Shadow Rider, they're Spider-Man, and Spider-Woman," said Liz.

"Yep," said Cain.

"So how'd it happen, exactly?" asked MJ.

"Well, dad and grandma both made a deal with the devil, and I got stuck with inheriting the powers of Zarathos," said Cain.

"Me and Petra were bitten by a radioactive spider, after our uncle was shot, we ended up meeting Cain while he was in Shadow Rider mode, and he gave us pretty much the same advice," said Peter.
