Cain and Sonya carried Wanda and Illyana to the rest of the Earthrealmers who were watching a fight between Liu Kang and a guy with glowing green eyes wrapped in bandages, when Storm saw them and saw her former student knocked out she flew over to them.
"What happened?" Storm asked looking over Magik.
Cain just looked over at Abel who he knew was hiding in the shadows and was glaring and trying not to growl so Sonya answered for him.
"We were ambushed by Sheeva and Skarlet, Wanda, and Illyana stayed behind to fight them while we went to find the foreign presence," said Sonya.
"Did you find it?" asked Kung Lao.
"Yeah, we found him," Cain growled as he clenched his fist so hard blood was being drawn, and Leetha had to force him to unclench his fist.
"Well don't keep us in suspense who was it?" asked Johnny.
Before Cain could answer, Abel walked out of the darkness and he glared at Cain with cold, deep, black eyes, like an abyss, and Cain glared back with glowing purple eyes.

As the brothers glared at each other they also began to release their monarch auras, only for Abaddon, and Zarathos to pull it back.
"Not here," Zarathos whispered to Cain, Abel turned away from Cain.
"Who was that, your evil twin?" asked Johnny.
"No, that would be my twin brother Clark, that was my clone Abel," said Cain.
"Wait your names are Cain and Abel?" asked Johnny.
"Mephisto has a sick sense of humor, maybe a sense of irony," said Cain.
"He wasn't always evil, once like me, he played host to a spirit of Vengeance, Samael, the venom of god himself, but sometime ago, Abel became vessel to a monarch, once again like me, that monarch was Abaddon, monarch of the white flames, king of demons," said Cain.
"I thought Mephisto was the king of Hell," said Storm.
"Mephisto is only one of many hell lords who use the title king, but in reality, there is no king of all of Hell, there's a king for each circle of Hell, Mephisto rules the sixth, Abaddon, other than Lucifer and a few other greater demons is probably closest to a king of many parts of Hell, he has legions of demons following him, all of them ready to invade Earth with the other armies of the other monarchs, but I tend to push them back," said Cain.
"Anyway, Abel allowed Abaddon in because he's lost something, and he's trying to get it back," said Cain.
"He should know making deals with devils never works out for the one making the deal," said Ororo.
"I agree, which is why I have to beat some sense into my dear brothers head," said Cain.
Omniverse
Many specifically those in the Marvel universe were surprised to hear that Abel was Cains clone, they always assumed he was just another twin of Cain, one that Cain kept secret or something.
Al Simmons, the former Spawn, watched his two former pupils, he wished he could be there for both of them, guide them, but he was running out of time.
But they were all curious, was it just Abel becoming the vessel for Abaddon that drove a rift between the two, because the way Cain spoke even now, he saw Abel as a member of his family.
Mk Universe
"Save him, save him, hahaha, you can't," a cold voice whispered in Cains head.
"OUT NOW," Zarathos roared.
Cain heard Wanda and Illyana, "Wanda, Yana, you two are ok," Cain said pulling the two into a hug.
"We should get injured more often if this is how you treat us," Illyana said jokingly.
"Don't say that Illyana," said Storm.
"What happened?" asked Cain.
"Well, we kind of felt your anger spike, and then we found it was Abel you were fighting, it distracted us long enough for Quan Chi to arrive, and he dealt a blow to both of us with magic," said Wanda.
"I'm sorry, I'll keep a better hold on my emotions," said Cain.
"The shit Abel was talking, I'm surprised you didn't attack him sooner," said Illyana.
"Though I am concerned, Quan Chi feels different than when I first saw him," said Cain.
"Quan Chi is a talented sorcerer, perhaps he has a spell to make his magic stronger," said Raiden.
"No, this change happened after I found Abel and it feels like," Cain was saying and his eyes went wide.
"Abel what the hell did you do?" asked Cain.
Cain tried to feel out for the flame of creation and destruction, but he couldn't since he was in a completly different Omniverse, he couldn't feel the flame of his Omniverse.
Cain kept calm about it, but Cain sensed traces of the flame in Quan Chi, Cain was guessing Abel gave Abaddon and Quan Chi, embers of the flame.
Cain noticed Johnny looked bruised, "what happened while I was gone?" asked Cain.
"Well, Nightwolf lost to that Scorpion guy," said Johnny.
"Damn," Cain thought.
"Then killed that Sub-Zero guy," said Johnny.
"Impressive, but damn," Cain thought.
"Next one of those cyber ninjas Cyrax beat the shit out of Hollywood here," said Jax.
"Damn," Cain mentally growled.
"Finally Liu Kang just took their fighter Ermac down," said Jax.
"Well that's something," said Cain.
"I need some air, I'll be right back," Cain said as he walked away.
"Are you all right my friend?" asked Liu Kang.
"Yeah, just a lot has been happening," said Cain as he walked away and ignored the eyes he felt on his back, especially Abels.
Omniverse
Everyone watched the young Rider with sympathy, Abel might have been his clone, but it was clear Cain cared about Abel and saw him as a brother.
MK Universe
Cain stepped outside and leaned on the rail of a balcony, Cain felt a shiver up his back, and he dodged an attack from a blue fan.
"I wanted to be alone, not deal with any fights princess," Cain said turning around, Cain just stared at Kitana, with her were Skarlet, and Jade.
"You owe me a rematch, Shadow Rider," growled Kitana.
"Do I now," said Cain smirking.
"Then again, I could use a distraction," said Cain as he popped his neck.
