Shadow Riders Omniversal Journey

Chapter 9

Tank stopped in front of a cave, letting his master and the woman off his back, "great job, Tank, take a rest," Cain said as Tank returned to his masters shadow.

"We got here quick," said Sonya.

"Your average Polar bear can run at speeds of twenty-five miles an hour, Ice bears are just the hell version of a polar bears possibly polar bears exist because an ice bear escaped hell some eons ago, but anyway they can run around the same speeds or faster and for far longer, plus they're bigger and have sharper fangs and claws," said Cain.

The pathway into the cave was dimly lit, but it was enough that the two could see, the Shadow Rider and the the Special Forces officer made their way through the cavern, and Sonya slowed her pace, meanwhile Cain hid in the shadows keeping an eye on the special forces woman as he silently summoned some of his shadow soldiers to other shadowed areas of the room all keeping an eye on any possible threats.

"Jax, Jax, are you in here," Sonya called out quietly.

Cain motioned her to be silent. "Let me go in first, I'm trained in stealth," Cain said in a whisper.

"You sure?" Sonya asked, and Cain just disappeared. Sonya was left in silence she couldn't see Cain or hear him.

Omniverse

Every assassin in the omniverse was quite curious about the skill. There was more to it than just invisibility or camouflage.

Mortal Kombat

Cain walked through the cavern invisible, not only could he not be seen, he couldn't be heard or smelled, even Wolverine and Sabretooth couldn't find him.

The room he was in seemed to be some kind of dungeon, lit dimly by torches, it was enough for him to see rotting corpses chained to the wall.

"Fuck, this looks exactly like Abaddons dungeon in Hell," groaned Cain, he was used to things like this, but still this was enough to make him sick.

Omniverse

This was a sentiment shared by many, even those exposed to it often were getting a bit sick, meanwhile the kids were having a better time getting used to it, but they weren't sure that was a good thing.

Mortal Kombat

Cain ignored it all and searched for Jax, so far nothing, Cain then spotted a  dark cell, someone was in it, Cain silently approached it, "Jax," Cain whispered.

The man groaned, Cain becomes visible and motions Sonya to him, "what was that, I couldn't see or hear you," Sonya said.

"You wouldn't be able to, or even smell me, that was a skill called Stealth, some assassin demons have it, they can't be seen, smelled, or heard, they're presence is completly erased, only people with really strong detection abilities can find them," said Cain.

Omniverse

"The ability to completly erase your presence," Ra's Al Ghul was thinking to himself.

"Can't be seen, heard, smelled, he could be the greatest spy and assassin on the planet," Natasha thought to herself, her godson could possibly surpass her as the greatest spy and assassin on the planet.

Mortal Kombat

 Sonya looked at Jax, in the cell beaten and bruised, and she let out a slight gasp.

"My god," said Sonya.

"Run... girl... run," he grunted out in pain.

"My king we have company," Cains shadow Beru whispered through a telepathic link he had with all his shadow soldiers.
