Sophie's pov

I met Annabeth outside the gates of school, "Over here!" I heard someone shout. I whipped my head around to see Annabeth waving at me, smiling broadly. We both ran towards each other, but a whoosh of wind made me fall off my feet. The last thing I heard before I blacked out was Annabeth shouting my name and someone's arms preventing my head hitting the ground.

"....don't know....."
"She'll wake up.......?"
"........... she can't."
"We're........sorry......"

I can hear bits and pieces of people talking in muffled voices, so I tried to move my head.
Left then right. Right then left.
I tried wiggling my toes and fingers.
Up then down. Down then up.
Slowly, I opened my eyes. I thought I was braced for the light, but it was too strong and resulted in me having a headache.

"She's awake!" an unfamiliar voice shouts.
Some shuffling noises on my right.
"Everyone stay back." Finally a familiar voice said, which now I recognize as Annabeth's.
More shuffling noises on my left and came along with glass objects clankering each other.

"Sophie..... Sophie!!" I forced my eyes to open, and adjusted to the brightness that the headlight provided.
"Hi" I said, looking at Annabeth.
She ran towards me and hugged me super tight that I probably didn't breathe for a second.
"Don't you dare injure yourself after we finally met after summer vacation." She scolded.
"Yes ma'am." I said, saluting.
She snorted, and soon we were in fits of laughter, surrounded by confused faces.

The door burst open and Reyna, Frank and Hazel stomped in.
Reyna immediately slapped me on the arm. "What the heck do you think you were doing Soph? You could've gotten a migraine!" she shouted angrily.
"But she didn't Rey." Hazel said, smiling and checking if I'm alright.
"Yea, Hazel's right. If Sophie's not injured then it's ok. Right Soph?" Frank asks.
Yeah... Frazel is the cutest. They are just still in their denial phase... eventually they'll set sail onto the mighty love sea with other ships.

I nodded, trying to give a reassuring smile to prove my point but failed miserably.
"See?? She's not well AT ALL!!" Reyna shouts, then suddenly realizes the people standing beside my nurse bed.
"And who the HECK are you all?" Reyna spat, eyeing them one by one.
"Woah, we mean no harm okay?" a guy with blonde hair and striking blue eyes replied.

Annabeth stalked up to them, and looked at them suspiciously.
"Which one of you hit her?"
"Me....?" A guy with curly brown hair, tan skin and black eyes replied.
"What's your name." Annabeth asked..... more like demanded.
"Leo Valdez?" Leo replied, sounding like he's questioning his own name.

Honestly Annabeth has this kind of effect on people, she makes them scared so maybe that's why no one was brave enough to be her friend in kindergarten. But it's alright after we get to know her, she's actually really protective of her friends, and is really really really really smart too.

"Well Leo, shouldn't you be saying anything to Sophie?" Reyna asked.
Leo turned to face me and stuttered out a sorry.
"It's totally fine." I replied, then turned to the nurse.
"May I leave now?" I asked him.
"After a few more minutes—yes." He replied, his name tag wrote Will.

"Will?"
"Yeah?" he replied.
"Are you a student here?" Hazel asks.
"Uh huh." he said, working on my medical stuff.
"I know someone who would need some help going around school.. maybe you'd like to help him out?" Hazel asks, a glint in her eyes that I interpret as mischief. Now what is that girl up to now?
"Oh yeah sure!" he replied, smiling at Hazel.

"Wait... Will?" the guy with messy black hair and sea green eyes asked.
Will looked up and seemed..... shocked?
"Percy? Leo? Jason? What're you guys doing here?" Will said, getting up to hug them.
"Well... Didn't we sorta say we have a surprise for you?" Jason said.
"Mmh?"
"Well it is......" Percy said.
"WELL DR.WILL THE SURPRISE IS THAT WE'RE GOING TO THE SAME SCHOOL AS YOU" Leo shouts, unable to contain his excitement.

Annabeth seemed to be eyeing Percy.... and is that a blush coming up her neck??????

Wooooooo looks like someone's having a cruuuuuuuuuuushhhhhhhh!!!!!!!1
We're going to have a big loooooooooong chat with the girls later.

-time skip to lunch-

"Why do we still have half a day left??????" Thalia groaned. Thalia—we just found out was actually Annabeth and Percy's cousin and is super super cool.

Well... we also met a few more people on the way, some were..... let's say not a pleasant encounter.

And speaking of the devil... Stina Heks and her gang walked over to where we are sitting—-specifically where I'm sitting and dumped the whole box of juice on my head.
"Oops, didn't see you there nerd." Stina sneered then walked away with her gang laughing hysterically.

I stood up dripping with juice, then walked slowly out of the cafeteria, trying to ignore all the stares and whispers–and straight to the nearest girls' bathroom.

Double update in a day?! Amazing!!! But this is kinda getting a bit boring... so any plot ideas? I still have a few tricks up my sleeve... or plot...😉
