Meanwhile, in the pocket dimension, Aramais was quickly losing hp. His blood spattered on the floor all around him. Despite the multiple wounds though, he seemed to be calming down. His breathing had slowed. It was his way of blocking out the pain. Shinobu came to a halt after a long flurry of strikes. She stood in front of the injured Ai and commended him.

"Your defense is really good! Even when you can't see me, I still can't land a killing blow."

The monk didn't respond with words, but instead glared at the human. She felt a cold shiver go up her spine as he peered into her eyes. Before long though, he raised his arms, blocking his face from view. Shinobu was puzzled as she could hear him mumbling something under his breath. She couldn't make out the words from where she stood. Shinobu went to take a step closer, but something in the back of her head went off like an alarm. The feeling warned her, telling her to keep her distance.

"Hello? I can't hear you man. Are you good?" Shinobu said.

The muttering was barely over a whisper. It was fervent, aggressive, even malicious as he spat the words out. As the samurai edged closer, cautiously as if approaching a feral animal.

"Trash- ""took me-" "Kill, kill, kill, kill" "took me away from him- ""Erase her" His voice glitched, modulating in pitch.

"Hey take it easy. Look, this is basically the only way I can beat you guys. It's nothing personal."

Aramais wasn't listening. He just kept muttering, hatred spilling from him with each word. The air around him began to electrify. His body glowed with elemental energy. It swirled around him, crackling bolts of lightning flashed across his body, charging him. The glow intensified until his skin became fully luminescent. The samurai had to step back, raising her guard. Something was definitely wrong with the Ai, but she couldn't exactly call for help. They were isolated from everyone in the demi plane.

With a mighty roar, Aramais was infused with the lightning. His screams echoed throughout the space as the light intensified. Shinobu had to shade her eyes with her hand. A final, massive explosion erupted from him, pushing her back. She could see that the monk had transformed.

"Avatar of Raijin."

Aramais was glowing, vibrating with power, he had become a person shaped field of high voltage energy. A red sash had materialized around Aramais' shoulders and behind him was a solid gold ring. Along the ring were strange looking drums with their tops facing Shinobu. This was the ultimate ability of the Raijin Fist Monk.
