"She's moving here, and it's like, I don't know what to do. I can't be the asshole that says no stay away, but I also kind of have to be the person to tell her no stay away because it's what's best for you." Ev explained the ongoing Pandora situation over facetime. I rolled over to plug my phone in.

"I mean, she's grown. You don't get to make her decisions." I told him.

"I don't want to! I just know what happens when we come back." I nodded and glanced at the door, Astrid had left with James a while ago but it'd been radio silence since.

"How's that going?" He asked, pulling me from my thoughts.

"Hm?"

"The whole Astrid thing." I took a deep breath, tipping my head back and forth contemplating.

"Well, she almost fucked Sirius last night," I started. His jaw dropped. "Which, honestly wasn't surprising on her end. She's had a crush on him since we were kids, but I'm surprised Sirius let it go that far."

"Uh, yeah, fresh out the slammer or whatever Taylor Swift said." I chuckled.

"Yeah, I don't even know. I can't talk to anyone who knows us well about it, I'm not talking to Mary— she's isolating since the incident, which means I can't talk to Alice either. Cas and Marls are out of town for the anniversary so I don't want to bother them. I'm pretty sure Remus and Sirius are back together after last night, James is parading my little sister around town trying to give me space and I kept Pete up until the morning sobbing into his pillow last night." He hummed before pointing to me.

"You know what you need?" He asked. A devilish grin spreading across his face.

"To wake up from this hellish nightmare?"

"To go get margaritas and mexican food with me. I'll be there in twenty." He told me before hanging up. I laughed but pushed myself out of bed nonetheless. I looked in the mirror at the checkered pajama shorts and Bowie tee shirt that once belonged to Remus. As much as I didn't want to change, I decided this outfit didn't cut it. I groaned as I sat down to finally take what was left of last nights makeup off. A knock rattled my door before it cracked open.

"Got a sec?" Remus asked. I nodded. He opened the door to reveal Sirius standing behind him. I rolled my eyes.

"That's low, even for you Lupin." I scolded as I pointed. He shrugged.

"It worked. I didn't think it would." They sat on the edge of my bed as I spun around to face them, pulling my knees to my chest.

"I'm sorry." Sirius finally said. I sucked my teeth and nodded.

"Yeah?" I asked. He nodded.

"Well, you tried to fuck my little sister —who you've known almost her entire life and furthermore knew she'd had a crush on you that whole time, which is not what I did to you so do not even try me on this one Black— so I'm gonna need a bit more than that to be honest." He nodded. Remus stifled a laugh from beside him. I directed my glare to him.

"Hey, I'm only here to make sure you don't rip his throat out." He said as he lifted his hands in defense.

"What if I went after her?" Sirius pressed. I raised my eyebrows with an angry smile.

"You'd never get to her, she'd kill you if you even thought about it- I mean look at her, she's already planning how to get around me just because you said that." Sirius looked at me. He backed down.

"Listen, we were just hanging out and we were talking about relationships. One sad story led to another and she kissed me," I bit my tongue while I dig my nails into the arms of my chair to stop myself from lunging at him. "I don't know what I was thinking, A. I wasn't. I couldn't have been thinking. I just- she kissed me and I thought maybe it would take away the pain."
