Thump! Thump! Thump! Blaze bounded down the stairs of the two storey house excitedly, a wide grin plastered on the teen’s face.

“Guys!! Did you remember today~“

“Not now Api, we’re busy. You slept in so late, it’s 1pm already! You were supposed to help us this morning with the TAPOPS report for an important mission in a few weeks time, but guess who decided to sleep in anyways,” Solar scoffed, his tone fierce, cold and annoyed. “Still dare to distract us…” he muttered under his breath. Ouch. The red capped boy bit his lip and swallowed down the guilt that welled up inside of him and chose to try his best to ignore it.

“Well, can I come on the mission then? It’s been quite awhile!” Blaze asked, a hopeful grin on his face, looking at his brothers in hopes of joining the mission.

“No. You’re still on probation, Api,” Gempa sighed, a tinge of annoyance in his tone. He was obviously having a lack of sleep shown by his heavy eye bags under his eyes.

“Yeah but-“ Blaze protested.

“No buts Api..” Gempa groaned, rubbing his eyes in exhaustion, but his tone was strict and firm.

“Can  you all just hear me out?!” Blaze snapped, flames started forming on his hands.

“Api… can you please just.. SHUT UP?!” Halilintar, the normally quiet one finally snapped back, banging his fist against the wooden table he was sitting at, almost causing the glass of water to fall off. “All you do is beg, and beg and beg! Is it so freaking hard to just be patient and WAIT? If you actually did wait, MAYBE we could have ended your probation earlier if you could just actually freaking WAIT!”

His words felt like a slap in the face but Blaze tried not to show his hurt by accumulating all these feelings of guilt and sadness into anger. He knew he was wrong. Since young, he had a huge problem with learning to be impatient.

‘What an impulsive, impatient and annoying child that boy is..’ others snickered.

“WELL- I- UGH!” Blaze was on the verge of tears, barked out a piercing insult, “YOU HAVE NO RIGHT TO SAY THAT! HAVE YOU RECOVERED FROM THAT DAY ADU DU CORNERED YOU WITH STUPID BALLOONS YOU GLOBAPHOBIC FREAK? AND YOU STILL EXPECT ME TO CHANGE SO FAST? YOUR 16 FOR PETIR’S SAKE!”

Halilintar was caught off guard and immediately shut up by the mention of a traumatic incident that changed him forever; The day where he decided to let go of his past crybaby self and decided to get tough ever since then. An unsettling silence settled upon the brothers, everyone not sure what to do.

The pops of the balloons.

The cruel laughter.

His own loud sobs.

It was all rushing back to Halilintar.

“So? Answer me, Petir!” Blaze snarled.

Plip! Plip!

Heavy breaths.

The yellow capped boy sat silently at his seat, trembling.

“Is he…?” Gempa immediately rushing over, answering his own question for himself and his eyes widened in a panic.

“Panic attack..” Taufan gasped, his usual smile disappeared immediately as he rushed over to his elder brother’s side, filled with worry.

Realisation quickly hit Blaze like a bag of bricks and he stuck out his hand to help and blurted out in a panic, “Wait I can help Petir-
