Chapter Twenty Six

Nicki POV
4m later- march 24th

These past few months flew by so damn fast, blue was now 6, and I was seven months, we got the gender yesterday but Lauren and Kelly are throwing us a gender reveal. Oh and speaking of blue Tonight was the night of her first recital. And she had the whole house ready.

"Stay still baby." I tell her tryna straighten the last piece of hair. I was giving her a high ponytail, but I wanted it straightened so I'd use less gel to hold it down. I finally finished laying her baby hairs down, wrapping her hair up.

"Mommy?"

"Yes baby?"

"You think mama will make it?" That question made me pause what I was doing. I looked to my baby who looked like she was fighting tears. Bey has been doing good with her time management but she hasn't been to blue rehearsals how blue wanted her to.

"Blue, baby, your mom would not miss tonight for the world." I give her a hug and reassuring smile. She nodded, with a smile, quickly getting distracted by the baby, playing kick ball in my damn stomach.

"He's so active mommy." She giggled tracing where the babies hand or foot went. Only she and her mother can get this baby this active.

"How you knows it's a boy, sounding like yo momma." She's laughed kissing my stomach.

"I just know." She's says with a shrug. I chuckled shaking my head, checking my watch.

"Come on lil lady, we gotta get you to the hall." I said grabbing her things. Her outfit was there already, someone special was designing for the dance troop, so she would be getting danced for the recital there. Mama Tina had the twins cause she knew I'd be busy with blue today. Blue and I made out way outside to Julius after I set the alarm.

"Hi Mr Julius." Blue waved excitedly as she got in the car. He smiled down at her saying hi, and greeting me as I got in.

"Mommy."

"Yes baby?"

"Can we do a sleepover tonight like before?"

"Maybe not tonight but in a few days yes." She takes that asking for her iPad. I hand it to her and we rode in a comfortable silence to the hall.

When we arrived Julius helped us out the car, and I took blues hand, leading us into the building. We both gasped as we walked in, the theme was under the sea. All the pretty blues and purples and pinks omg, I felt like a kid. To my surprise Bey walked out of a room that was back stage when we got back here.

"MAMA!!" Blue shouted rushing to her mother. I had no clue she was here and early, and why was she back here. Suddenly Mel walked out of that same room and the gears in my head begin to turn. No way again I'm being her damn fool, while pregnant for her. I didn't say anything just turned around to leave the back stage area. I kept my tears at bay, finding my way to the front door almost running into Ms. Debbie.

"Oh hello Nicki dear, you're leaving so soon?" She questioned, giving me a warm smile. I cleared my throat trying to steady my voice.

"Umm no Ms. Debbie, just going to get some fresh air." I concluded giving her a small smile before stepping off to the side making my way out through the double doors. Once I got outside I let out a heavy breath while releasing my tears. She barely touches me now that I'm pregnant, and here she is now in a closed up room with someone she use to have sex with. Maybe I'm over thinking it but how could I be when the proof is here, close up together. But imma do this different. I always run away not this time but this isn't the place for me to cuss her ass out. I wipe the tears from my face, taking a few deep breaths. In and out, in and out, I repeat in my head listening to my own voice. When i was somewhat together, I headed back inside. I headed back stage, seeing all the little dancers in different blue and pink slowly skirts, with either blue or purple leotards. Blue spotted me and rushed over with a bright smile, when she got closer I saw she was crying.

"Hi my pretty girl, why were you crying?"

"Hi mommy, I thought you left." She hugged me placing her head on my belly.

"I'd never miss your show baby." I reassured her while rubbing her back in circles.

"OK MY LITTLE DANCERS, I need everyone front and center ." Ms Debbie said, making me and blue break apart. The parents were ushered to our seats. The auditorium started to fill with people. Beyonce ended up finding me, taking a seat.

Baby." I cut her off, raising my hand.

"Here is not the place." I said cutting my eyes at her as the lights dimmed. My focus was now on the stage ahead awaiting my babies performance.

"Ladies and gentlemen moms and dads tonight we have put together our own rendition of the little mermaid." Ms Debbie's voice filled the auditorium. My attention was averted to my mom, Tina and the twins, walking in. They was ushered to bey and I and Sir of course climbed his way in my lap, not forgetting to throw a scowl at my large belly. Claps erupted making me pay attention. Music began to play and all the little mermaids were dancing. Over all they did a phenomenal job, especially turning a musical kinda, into a dance run. The twins excitedly cheered for their big sister each time she made her way to the front. By the end the whole room were on their feet, clapping.

"I'd like to have all my little mermaids come and bow." Ms Debbie said making an appearance. She wore a bright and proud smile, clearly happy they put on the show she'd hoped for. The girl collectively grabbed hands and all bowed.

"Special thanks to our team, that helped with set up. And thank you to all the parents for raised such talented kids and bringing them to each practice. Last but not least I'd like to thank my little dancing stars, Blue, mother for designing the costumes. Yes ladies and gentleman, they are wear GISELLE designed dance wear." Beyonce stood up with a smile, looking around the room, waving her hand. Ms Debbie continued a bit before it was officially over. I got up excusing myself, with air attracted to me. When I got to the hall, Mel approached me. I say a quick prayer to God for the strength not to put my hands on this woman cause I'm pregnant, oooooouu but let her keep playing I drop this baby in two months.

"Hey Nicki I just wanted to say it wasn't what it looked like."

"What are you doing here then."

"My daughter started dance to be with blue, Blue and her are best friends so I feel like things with her nanny shouldn't be so intense. Besides your pregnant." She shrugged I went to open my mouth when Beyonce walked up her hand, finding my lower back.

"What's going on here?" She questioned eyes bouncing between Mel and I. Her eyes landed on me and stayed on me.

"We were just talking." I say giving her a small smile.

"Yea, me and da nanny was just chatting." I grit my teeth, balling my fist up. This bitch had one more time. But sir tightening his hold on me reminded me that I was even holding him. Bey kinda pushed behind her taking a step.

"Melissa listen to me and hear me good. Nick is my WOMAN and has been and is going to keep being so. She's carrying my child and MOTHER, not nanny to my children that's already here. I helped you with your daughter earlier cause you asked. We have nothing and will never have nothing going. Yes we fucked but that was two damn years ago get over yourself before we have a problem." Bey gritted out turning to me pulling me away from that area and to our family. I wasn't sure if I should even be mad anymore. I was a mix of things but anger was something I no longer felt. The family as a whole, left the hall, heading to the place the reserved to eat. The rest of the night was filled with laughter and conversations of the future. Sir sleeping body rested against mines, after he ate. Rumi followed suit, climbing on my other leg. I know bey and I need to talk, but for right now I'd take the feeling I have being around our family.
