Chapter Fourteen

August 24th

Class started today as well as blue starting kindergarten,(I can't remember blue age so we gone say she 5). And that was a job within itself. She would not let me go, only when Kelly pulled up with Titan did she release me, still making sure to ask if I was coming back. Eunice missed her going to school but made sure to be present while she got dressed. Now I had the twins down for a nap after giving them a fruit bowl. Lo said she was tryna stay but she needed a place so after work me and my babies are going apartment hunting. My phone rang and it was Beyonce FaceTiming me.

"Hey beautiful how you feeling?" She smiled into the phone making me smile back.

"I'm good despite the bite I feel between my thighs." She chuckles at my revelation. Ugghh this woman, everything she does gets to me.

"I'm happy to be of service, maybe later I can fix it?" Her honey eyes hold nothing but mischief and list swirling in them.

Oh hell no, you and the hammer can stay away from me until further notice." I'm definitely lying, I love to be reminded of her every time I move in this seat. It's been a week since that night and we go at it like sex starved teenagers at every turn. I definitely took a plan b but the amount of times it made no sense so I actually scheduled a doctors appointment to get some birth control. I mentioned a condom last night and you would have thought I killed her puppy and held her momma at ransom.

"ONIKA!!"

"Oh shoot I'm sorry I was lost for a minute there."

"Yea I see, I was tryna tell you to come down here later I need to see sum."

"What's later cause I'm helped lo look for an apartment?" I said glancing at the camera, I needed to finish this paper.

"Where she tryna live and Like 2 cause then we can leave here and grab blue together."

"Ummm I really don't know she said something about downtown Houston. And Ok sounds like a plan." I said sending my paper in closing the laptop.

" bring her with you, we have someone that buys properties here, I'll see if she can find affordable apartments for your friend."

"Bey you don't have to do that." I say softly.

"I know I don't have to but I want to, so let me help."

"Ok bey." I playfully roll my eyes.

"Keep playing with me." And her tone alone sent shivers up my spine.

"And since y'all not apartment shopping today, come see me earlier then two."

"You gone feed us?"

"Why wouldn't I feed my four babies?" Four ??? Blue at school it's just gone be three of us. She laughed seeing my face cause I'm genuinely confused.

"Don't think too much on it, just finish what you doing with your classes and I'll see you when you get here."

"Ok see you in a bit." We hung up and I sighed. I got up cleaning up my school stuff going into my room, smiling at the twins being sprawled out on my bed. I grabbed my phone taking a picture, before going to put my things away. I left out my room going to their grabbing them clothes for today. Rumi is the easier one to deal with getting dressed so o woke her up first. Carrying her to the bathroom, helping her brush her teeth and wash her face. I then oiled her skin before getting her dressed taking off her bonnet. She smiled up at me shaking her hair making her beads make noise. For two days this has been what she does, fascinated with the sound. I braided her and blue hair so blues hair was fresh for school and you couldn't tell them nothing, running around doing concerts with these damn beads. I smile kissing her forehead and she ran into the room hopping on the bed.
